Question Adding Navi after purchase?

Can you add navi after purchase? I didnt get it initially and now Im kicking myself. Since both screens are already touch does anyone know if you could add it from the dealer after the fact?

Both screens are already touch and Im sure part of it is just software but I didnt know if a gps transponder need to be added as well which would probably make this a no go.

Any guidance would be appreciated

Thanks

This is pure guessing, but usually the GPS sensor is part of the antenna on the roof. It is used for more than just the GPS. As cool as the built in GPS sounds, over the years I have spent a fortune on map upgrades when I have bought the factory GPS. I would just buy an aftermarket GPS with lifetime maps and traffic. It is a fraction of cost of the factory system, and no expensive updates.

Buy Infiniti

All of the features do not work, but it is good enough.

To the op. Ye that is a good idea. It would probably be crazy expensive to swap the intouch to the nav version (or maybe it's just the upper screen), and what ever else is needed.

Also maybe look at this thread and what ktsg21 did.
He can display his phone on the top screen.
May not be a one size fits all approach since it doesn't use GPS.
But if you have a cell signal apple or android can run google maps on the top screen.
For driving around the city I'd rather have google maps than the Q50 Nav.
Google maps has way better traffic info.
