I'm from GTA and was able to buy used paddles and new trim for under $400 CAD.

Heres the trim I bought for $155:

Did you get the Q50 or the G37 paddles?

Well I am sad to say. Just checked out my 2014 Q50 Premium AWD for the pre-wire. After finally getting everything apart and looking I don't have them. very disappointing. sad day indeed. I was really hoping to do this mod after hearing so many peoples success storys. But dam. Happy I looked before ordering my parts.

Throwing up some pictures maybe I am blind(I hope).

Thanks guys I guess I am the first to not have them *Sigh*

For the people that have done is. Were the wires well hidden or something? I didn't unwrap any of the foam wrapping maybe its under there?

Did you check to see what is under the white foam covers? Normally the connectors are secured with foam.

Refer to step 10 images. Infiniti G37 Paddle Shifter Installation

First off I want to say WOW I am blind! Thanks a lot Tunerz! You made my day if not week.

Surely enough going back down for a 2nd look.(It is a lot easier the 2nd time to open the steering column cover. Took less then 10m 2nd time around) The cables are very well hidden in the foam if you ask me. First look I really didn't see how or think they could hide the cables in them. I have worked with many advance computer systems but dam I guess I had the idea they would just be hanging out in the open. Not compacted in foam.

Taking the advice here and a look at the 4th picture i posted I saw a bit of white inside the foam.

Even after going back down and uncovering the 1st cable I was just shock how well hidden they are to the point where I didn't even believe there could be a 2nd cable. Anyways long story short. I am blind lol. Didn't help doing it in a dark underground parking lot.

Also does anyone know what bolts/nuts are used?

(2) 6mm nut and (2) 6mmx10mm bolt
OR
(2)10mm nuts and (2) 10mm bolts.
Thanks guys!

I ended up going with the G37 Paddle Shifters. The price of the Q50 version was too much and with the US to CAN exchange rate I just couldn't bend over for that price. Really like how in auto mode you can still use them to to change gears and then the computer takes over after a few secs.

Do wish colors matched a bit more but didn't want to spend another $150.

The Q50 and G37 use the same paddle shifters, just a matter of difference in interior color.
