Default First ever silver sport 3.0tt tuned

A good friend of mine Is a tuner who cracked the ecu and tuned my silver sport to over red sport numbers at just 14.5 psi.... only issue is when u reach red sport number u get red sport issues... which most of u have probably heard the red sports have been throwing belts... at 5k miles my silver sport has been fine... as soon at we hit the red sport hp there went the belt

Very interesting..thanks for posting this.

Doesnt the RS have extra water cooling for the turbos? If true would you be worried about pumping more PSI without the extra hardware?

Not worried about it.. as long as the iat Temps stay reasonable

so that was the max with a tune you would say ,and can you turn the boost up any more?

i wonder how much a redsport has on the table when tuned?

I would think you'd need to rebuild the tranny before doing that.

We were gonna push for 400hp to the wheel... and it would of happened if the belt didn't come off...so first thing is figure out the belt situation

Yes aam competition cat delete dps and 3" true dual cat-back exhaust.. also on a 50/50 mix of e85 and 93

I have the same 3.0t premium, but I have a muffler delete.. do you think the tune would be fine with that? Btw I called the place you said and I'm thinking of doing it soon..
