Hey Everyone!

I know you've all be waiting for this and asking questions about it, and it is finally here! I can also answer most of your questions about the kit.

Available for the Q50 Sport and Premium (Q50S & Q50) RWD and AWD Models. Hybrid still needs to be tested and/or developed.

Pre-Order is now available. The first batch of 10 kits will ship at the end of February. Requires 50% deposit to secure your kit. Please PM, Call (866-250-5542 x140), or Email (mdorman@stillen.com) to place your pre-order. We do not have an eta for kits after the first batch (hopefully not too long a delay).

1st Kit will auctioned off. Details to be released soon.

The STILLEN SM500 Q50 Supercharger Kit will feature:
-500 hp at the crank
-Vortech V3 SCi Blower
-Air to water intercooler for more efficient and effective cooling
-Increased runner length for increased torque
-Completely sealed, self-lubricating supercharger system
-No hood replacement required
-CARB approved and 50-state legal
-Fully Tune by STILLEN
-Designed and manufactured in the USA
-3 year/36,000 mile warranty*

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q - Do you have dyno sheets to post?
A - I do not have dyno sheets to post yet. I will hopefully have some soon.

Q - Why no dyno sheets?
A - R&D was done on our AWD Q50 and we do not have an AWD Dyno. Original Dyno Sheet from facility where testing was done is missing.

Q - How much horsepower will I have?
A - Power gains should yield ~500 crank horsepower.

Q - Can't I just use the G37 Kit?
A - No, it is a completely different kit.

Q - Will you sponsor me?
A - We are not offering any Q50 Supercharger Sponsorships at this time.

Q - Does it come with a tune?
A - Yes, it comes with a full Smog Legal Tune.

Q - Can I do a custom tune?
A - Yes, you can still get a custom tune but will have to purchase the correct cable with the kit to have a licensed UpRev tuner do the tuning.

Q - Do you have pictures of the other kits (only showing black currently)?
A - We do not have pictures of the Satin or Polished kits on the Q50 yet.

Q - Will this work on my Hybrid?
A - We have not tested it on a hybrid. You are welcome to volunteer to have it tested on your car.

Q - Why is it more expensive that the G37 and 370Z kit?
A - The kit is much more complex and intricate. It required many more and new parts than the G37/370Z kits.

Q - Can I get those cool Carbon Fiber Parts?
A - Yes! I will be adding a link shortly.

I am definitely excited about this product. Less excited about the price being more then other kits.

Could you elaborate on the complexities mentioned that will help us consumers understand why were paying a premium for this kit over all other kits with the same engine.

The front end of the Q50 is quite a different design than the G37 (which is why the Gen 3 intakes don't work). Because we use the core support passthrough on the G37 for the Supercharger intake and that passthrough isn't there on the Q50 we had to redesign the intake tract. The intake side of the blower on the Q50 kit is about as long as the Gen 3 intake and has more bends. On top of that we had to make a new intake boot for proper fitment. Those differences are the main reason for the higher price. Also, the Q50 kit takes into effect the price increase that will affect all supercharger kits on March 1st. So the Q50 blower won't go up in price March 1st like the G37 and 370Z kits.

No aftermarket modifications void the factory warranty inherently. The Magnuson Moss Warranty Act states that no aftermarket part can void a manufacturer's warranty unless they can prove that the aftermarket part cause the failure in question. So an intake can't possibly affect a headlight warranty. In the same way, and intake won't necessarily void warranty on your cats or throttle position sensor.

I'm very curious to see how thing would shape up on the Q50S AWD with Uprev software dynotuned to 93 octane. I am considering it, not for now, but in the future. Perhaps break into 11's with the proper tires and supporting mods (trans cooler, etc.) ?? I think possibly...but then again I'm making it up...

11!!!!! I highly doubt this car will ever come close to mid to high 12. Matter of fact i'd be shocked if it breaks 13.

I profoundly disagree....

Let me tell you a little story.....my budget G35 coupe 6mt 2005 build, on a very cheap turbo (built for a 4-cyl), only put out 360whp/360wtq and ran mid-12's...

Now, a q50s awd--let's just say for the sake of argument 300lbs more than my g35--based on my understanding of the Stillen kit COULD see 430awhp on proper tuning....

Now it would be approximately 70 hp more....and 300lbs more (-.7sec)(+.3sec)= net (-.4sec)....

Now let's consider that Q50 Hybrids are seeing low 13's on the strip....and it's crazy to think that a Stillen SC on a Q50S AWD wouldn't stomp all over a hybrid...So I can see not buying 11's, ...but not buying breaking past 13's?? I don't get it.

I actually thought you meant just UpRev tuning will make it break the 13s that's why I was like wtffffff.

My bad. Ya with this kit I don't think gaining a full second would be an issue, specially on a awd.
