Default New Set of tires.

I got a new set of tires today. Michelin Pilot Sport a/s 3+. When I looked I saw the front left tire was made in 01/16 and the other three 50/15. They are like three weeks apart so I didn't really complain too much. Should I be worried for any reason? They are all brand new All the tire tread is still there.

Probably nothing to worry about. Post pics of the rubber please! Would like to see the sidewalls and tread as these are the same tires I am considering once I ditch the Dunlop RFT's @element

Default BF Goodrich Comp 2 A/S vs Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3+

Hey Element,

I PMed you as well. Really trying to get a side by side comparison of these two tires. I know you used to own the BFG and now own the Michelin.

I see you originally had the BF Goodrich Comp 2 A/S and LOVED them but they were tremendously harsh/rough then you switched shortly after to the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3+

First, it seemed you only had the BF Goodrich for 3 months or so. How did you get rid of them, simply sold them or did BFG take care of you under warranty (I saw you mentioned you might try that)?

Since you owned and drove both. Can you provide me a side by side comparison of the BFG Comp 2 A/S and the Michelin A/S3+?

How long did you actually drive on the BFG and how long have you drove on the Michelin?

Comparison of Dry handling between the two?

Comparison of Wet handling between the two?

Comparison of Snow Traction between the two (if you have had experience with snow traction)?

I know the BFG turned out to be VERY rough for you, how has the Michelin A/S3+ compare in regard to smoothness/roughness?

Comparison of noise sound (how loud) between the BFG and the Michelin A/S3+?

Did you notice any tramlining on either tire during highway driving?

I went to Costco and they gave me a quote to replace my runflats with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3+ for 875.56 installed out the door. This also comes with nitrogen filled and all the install bs. This is for 245/40 R19.

I checked Tire Rack and Discount Tires as well as a couple local wheel shops and everyone else was way higher. Anyone else know of better pricing? Specifically in the Tampa Florida area?
