So glad I bought this when my tires were popping left and right

Hooks right up to the battery and lifts it in about 30 seconds making the oil change much easier

I know I know, a floor jack is much safer.. however I can carry this in the hard case it came in in my trunk for emergencies and quick maintenance like this so I’m happy with it 😄

I grabbed 12 crush washers from the dealer for $2- asked if the EZ style plugs are any good and he said to stay away but we’ll see
Pennzoil Ultra Full Synthetic and NAPA Platinum Filter and she’s ready to go for another 4K miles or so

That's a handy device! A floor jack may be a bit safer but using jack stands makes it a moot point. NEVER get under a car without stands. When I was a youngster I knew of not one but TWO people (Dad's friends) that died pulling parts off of junkers using bumper jacks. Darwin Awards winners for sure.

Yes, the EZ plugs are convenient but I would never use one. That's just me.

I might have your 20 years beat. I still have a four-speed transmission for a 1977 Mustang II sitting in my garage.

I changed my oil today. The filter that is specified for the VR30 is 15208-65F1B. That is what the dealer used when changing the oil on my car previously.

When I went to my local Nissan dealer to buy that part, they didn't have it. So I went ahead and bought the 15208-65F0E, which is what @EngineeredQ50 used.

I'm curious what the difference is between these two. The 15208-65F1B has blue lettering and logos and 15208-65F0E has red lettering and logos. Looking inside they have slight differences. I'm wondering if 15208-65F1B is designed for longer change intervals due to the factory 10k mile interval specified for the VR30.

Does anyone have any other information about the differences between these filters?
