Default 3.0t premium tuned to 3.0t sport power output

is it possible to get a q50 3.0t premium and get a tune that gives it the same power output as the 3.0t sport model?

It's possible to get a tune and mods to make a premium out perform the red sport, let alone the sliver sport.

2016+ Premium, JB4+fuel wires+meth, BMS HE, Z1 full catless DPs, Megan Y-pipe. 18" TSW's with 275/40/18's all around. [email protected]

3.0t premium or luxe has the same output as the 3.0t Sport, i.e. 300hp. But you can get either tuned and have more power than the stock 3.0t Red Sport 400.

Read my signature. These mods will get you to more than a stock RS.
Only difference are:dual water pumps, optical turpo speed sensors, and gearing. Maybe some other little things that are not a big deal.

All you need to outperform a stock RS is a JB4 to be honest

What happens to the warranty after the mods?

Warranty is still good but they can deny a claim if they say one of your mods caused that issue. JB4 is very easy to install and disassemble if you need to bring into the shop. Itís not a true tune so it would be a lot harder for them to detect it, at least I hope so lol, if you get a JB4 get LDP with full exhaust and heat exchanger to get the most out of it, otherwise youíll only be able to run map 1 or 2 at most.

I keep seeing these questions asked and the same answer a "stock" RS what a bolted and tuned RS. I think this would be more of the correct question. What's the end power levels if the mods are equal? Will a premium or a lux = a tuned RS

One potential area of concern I'd have is the non-RS models do not have the eddy current speed sensors on the turbos. Since those sensors prevent overspeed of the turbos on the RS, what prevents that from happening on a SS that is boosted up to or beyond RS boost levels?

Hopefully, there's enough headroom in the engineering design so that isn't a problem but they put the turbo speed sensors on the higher output VR30 for a reason.

Not really true for non-Redsports. I had a JB4 with only Intakes and fuel wires and my logs all looked fine when i provided Map 5, 6 and 7 logs. It's all about data logging. The non-RS engine is only tuned at 9.7 psi so it can handle a bit more without the absolute need of of other mods. Of course, LDP/Catback/HX etc will greatly assist the JB4 achieve its target boost levels.
