@Ddnspider looking at your sig it looks like you are running the stock muffler. Is that true? Did you get an improvement in sound with changing out the other parts of the exhaust?

Full catless DP's, Megan Y, stock mid and stock muffler back. The noise is definitely increased at cold start and part throttle. My biggest issue with it is the outlet of the Megan Y is bigger than the stock mid, so there's a leak which sounds annoying. I bit the bullet on the Tanabe mid so they'll mate up properly and hopefully that noise will go away. I've heard other say you get a deeper tone once you do the mid so we'll find out.

Don't get me wrong, it bolts up and fits, but its obvious the stock mid is too small for the Megan output. It probably is easier to do them both at the same time anyways.

dang I was planning on doing LDP and Y pipe only. I would hate to have a exhaust leak noise

Any sound clips?

Y pipe arrived. Fitment was good. Tip for install, use wd40 or PB blaster to get the hangers on and off. It's much easier than dry rubber. First impression.....SO MUCH BETTER than just the y alone. The flange from the Megan Y to the stock mid pipe isn't a good fit. The Tanabe mid pipe fixes this so they mate up properly. No rasp and much cleaner and sporty tone. Glad I did it.
