Default Ignition switched power under the hood?

Can anyone point me to an easily accessed ignition switched power source under the hood?
Trying to avoid running a wire through the firewall from inside.

Thanks

What additional amperage load does the Tein system require?

I'm not sure right off hand. I'll have to look in the manual when I get home.

But I'm sure its not much. Its just a controller that controls two servo motors for the front suspension dampener adjustments.
The motors are small, (maybe 1 1/2" square), and there is very little load on the motors.
The servo motor controllers receive the signal from the master controller via wireless signal so they just need power and connect to the motors with a wire.
So I am just looking for an easy place to tap into ignition switched power under the hood to run the front motor controller.

Avedis has a very good question. You can fry your ignition if you are not careful.

I did once about 20 years ago.

Probably best to use a relay and properly fused harness.

If the Tein motors pulled significant current, I'd say that would be the best solution but probably not necessary in this case. If the front motors only pull a few amps then finding the proper ignition-switched fuse under the hood shouldn't be a problem. I'll wait for the OP to provide the current draw information before suggesting a fuse location.

What's going on here? Are we building one of those hopping lowriders?

2018 Iridium Blue, AWD, Q50 Red Sport w/ Sensory and ProACTIVE packages and an illuminated grille emblem that is no longer anything special as my neighbor's lowly Chevy truck has one too.
