There is a white Kia stinger here in town. I have parked next to it a few times. Both my GF and I agree the Q50 RS was a better choice.
The plastic hood doodads n shark thingies on the side look very cheap. The rear head room is about the same as my G37IPL (dismal). Chipping paint issues are common. The Stinger is longer. I do really like the hatchback though.
Pros = transmission, brakes, infotainment sys., hatchback, LSD
My Q50: brakes are fixed, tranny can be upgraded for a grand, LSD may not be a problem, as the Q AWD seems worthy. Infotainment.. I like the 2 screen layout much better, and my smartphone works just fine.
Put them up on a rack and look underneath them both. The Stinger is much more cost reduced. The G37IPL was even higher quality underneath than the current Q's.
At first I had some buyers remorse, no longer. The Genesis G70 has better potential as competition to the Q50 than a Stinger IMHO. To bad it has a Chrysler 300 grill. Uggg.
The G70 is shorter and handles better than the Stinger. The buying experience seems better than the Kia and Infiniti. AND both have better warentees than the Infiniti.
Kia dealerships abound while Infiniti dealerships are few and far apart.
I'm still glad I got my Q50, hopefully I feel the same 3 years from now.
