Default New Q50 Leasee

Hey everyone. I've just been approved and haggled for a 2019 3.0t S AWD in blue- I think every option. She should arrive within a week in grey interior. The only other S they had in blue was white interior. My only reservations would be the lack of a spare and I believe Android?

This is a far cry from my '17 Fusion, so I'm really stepping up in class. After being scraped 3 times in a year, I decided that Fusion was cursed. It's in the shop now being painted in the side. I'm hoping to have better luck this time.

I've looked over Stinger GT & Genesis G70. The Gt seemed too large. I just felt more comfortable going with the Infiniti badge. Kia doesn't offer a luxury dealer experience. The Genesis G70 is hard to find with the specs I wanted, while they aren't really giving any deals. I could've ordered what I wanted if Genesis wasn't being so tight. The Infiniti looks better anyway.

Ill take some pics after it's tinted, though I see an identical one in the lease thread.

Hello sir and welcome, there is a DIY thread on how to add a spare tire to the trunk which is relatively simple and easy to perform. No android auto at this time but there are after-market infotainment screens that
include it but since your leasing I imagine you'll want to keep that stock.

I have to say 3 accidents is seriously a lot, I don't blame you for dropping the fusion after that many.

Seriously though over 3 accidents in a year??? What aren't you teaching them Avedis~! Did you're explanation of correct following
distance get sidelined in favor of a detailed breakdown of the chemical composition of the cars dash?

lol None were my fault. The current episode was while it was parked. Before that, someone abruptly switched lanes and didn't see me. He had no insurance while carrying passengers Uber-style. Car wasn't even in his name... The first was someone turning without the arrow. He kept telling the cop that the light was orange. Whatever

Anyway, thanks for the welcome and advice. Ill look into the tire after I do my tint.

Hah all good I assumed you weren't at fault or else you'd have probably just got a junker at that point, well if nothing else the Q50 has some decent safety tech
baked in that make life a bit easier... Usually.

If you ever have kids, you'll see. They can go through the driving education course and all my coaching during their permit process but as soon as they get out in the car on their own, they forget most all of it. My oldest did $4500 worth of damage to one of our cars in a parking lot. Two weeks after it got out of the body shop, he totaled it. I've got more...

I recall 7 or 8 accidents between my two sons in their early years. Of course, then there's the MIPs and such. Kids are overrated.

Well just 1 "officially" between myself and my brother, he technically drove over a sapling heading home one day.
My old man was pretty hard-core teacher, he was born in Germany so his expectations are wildly different from Canadian or US driving standards.

His first rule of driving a car, your phone is either in the glove box or in your pocket turned off. If it rings and not in one of those two places and you'd get a swat
in the back of the head. Hah

We had to change a tire in the driveway b4 we could touch the car. Check fluids too. Was taught about radiator caps and hiw not to get burned.
No licence till we could drive a standard. With a hill test by my mom w/o the e-brake.

Then drivers ed.
Strict usage limits too.

My Dad never had a car, he was wounded in WWII, he had a motorcycle, my brother wouldn't teach me, so one night when my brother went out with his friends, I went into the garage took his Honda Civic, the little box, and learn how to grind some gears, that's how e learn.
