Crazy cat (18 month purebred Singapoura) I have rescued 4. Animal planet was going to do a clip on me. I am the only person in the country to "rescue" a purebred singapoura, let alone 4. I "adopted" this one after my last one died.

A really fun goofy breed.

The first pair were litter mates. Starved and found with the original east coast breeder. He died and the kittens given to the MSPCA. I got them the day after they got them. Tiny with ribs showing. They were almost exactly the same. Only my wife and I could tell them apart.

The second pair were from the original west coast breeder. Long story but were BADLY abused and ended up in a shelter in Chicago "Cat Nap of the Heart".

The day they put them up for rescue I called them. I drove from NH steright through and got them. They were very damaged. Took them months to trust me. Then became very attached and loving. I miss them.

I have dibs on this ones uncle (a show cat) and will adopt him this Augest after they breed him and will fix him b4 I get him. My cat needs a buddy.

Oh I have had a dog too. An Alaskan Malamute he was 127 lbs Black, sable, and white. One Strong dog. He had a harness and pulled my Renault R12 up and down the street. Much to the enjoyment of the kids on the block.

Fun dog. Loved the winter. I'd hook him up to the toboggan THAT was fun, or a saucer and let him fly with my 7 year old son on it.

Gad, fun times.

I guess my Son will call me tonight. He owns a Fencing Academy in MA and is very busy on weekends. He has written 2 books on fencing. link: https://www.pioneerfencing.com/

"Make Friends and Stab Them!" <- from his site. Lmao
Being a first time pet owner (since 10/18), I have new found respect for the owner-pet relationship and how deep it can go. You are a great human being for rescuing these animals (regardless of what other people around say about you...jk).

What kind of vacuum? I recently acquired a Dyson V11 Torque Drive stick vacuum and I have found it to be the most awesome cleaning device I have ever used. Totally worth the inflated MSRP in my opinion.

2018 Iridium Blue, AWD, Q50 Red Sport w/ Sensory and ProACTIVE packages and an illuminated grille emblem that is no longer anything special as my neighbor's lowly Chevy truck has one too.

Shark. I love it. Best I have ever owned. But have a cheap one for lighter stuff and for the car. (forun related content)

What I like about the Shark is the ability to EASILY remove the beater bar(s) to take thread/hair or other long stuff on. Very user friendly.

Got it on sale from a TV ad.
Dyson's look nice too. Shark customer service is very good as well.

Yep, my Son called. He is in Boston. He has a 10 day job teaching fencing in GA next month. What a cool job. He actually certifies coaches. Goes to the Colorado Springs Olympic training center for fencing for 2 weeks a year. But I think he resigned from that.
He took fencing in college and used none of what his PhD was going to be in and quit b4 his degree to open his Fencing studio. Funny how that worked. I was, at the time, not to happy he quit so close to his PhD. But it all worked out.

A high school and college friend of mine, Bob Zagunis, is Mariel Zagunis' father. She is a sabre fencer and 2-time Olympic gold medal winner as well as winning the world fencing championship seven times. Bob rowed crew for Oregon State and I think he qualified for the Olympic rowing crew a long time ago.

@Avedis53 I cut n texted your post to my son. Maybe he will know of her. Saber is my son's favorite discipline.
Edit to add.. heard back from my son:

"I have met Mariel a few times. There is a photo of us together hanging at PVFA."

Again @Avedis53

We ended up going to Cloudland Canyon state park here. One of our many mini-adventures.
