Default High-Pitched ringing noise??

Hey all,

Has anyone experienced a high-pitch ring from their vehicle? Just got a 2015 3.7 Sport with 28k miles on it and I have this high-frequency/pitched ring coming from the rear of the car. It can be heard inside the cabin and even from outside of the vehicle. Driving is bearable with music and AC on, but I just installed my hemholtz and when I just want to hear exhaust I have to deal with the ringing! Driving me nuts...

I saw a few threads regarding a whining noise from the AC, but nothing for ringing in the rear. Any ideas or experiences on this?

Thanks!
Jay

I have an intermittent high-pitched whine on my 2015 q50s with ~30K miles but it seems to be originating from the front of the vehicle. It sounds almost like an electronic whine if that makes any sense. I took it into Infiniti and they said they couldn't replicate it :/ Wish I had more for you, but look forward to hearing what others have to say. I'll be bringing my vehicle in to infiniti tomorrow morning for other servicing (sigh) and will also mention the high-pitched whine again.

About to get a 30k service in a few months. I'll bring it up when I do that. I won't need to replicate, this is occurring 100% of the time. I have to tell myself that my car is a spaceship, then it makes sense....

Same here! it doesnt sound like anything is wrong, and it is intermittent but it sounds like a very subdued jet whine

I'm guessing tinnitus from too loud of stereo.

Last night driving home with my CC on at 60 MPH my tinnitus was louder than the ambient noise level. Uggg.

You youngins please if you don't want to live your last few decades with this nasty condition, keep your earbud volume down! Also, stereo and home theater volume reasonable realistic levels. Ear muffs with chainsaws etc.

This damage is cumulative and is not reversible.

I can't sleep w/o background noise to cover the high pitch noise I have. It even wakes me up. Just look at the time stamps on many of my posts.

I'm trying to get my VA disability to cover it. A long very difficult process.

My oldest son has tinnitus and moderate hearing loss in one ear. I know it certainly has caused him a lot of problems.
