A TCM code would show that probably.

That was the "K" car. IIRC They may saved Chrysler but were pretty crummy.. Fugly too. The first few years were the worst. The contact paper fake woodie being the best example of cheap crap.

Just throwing this out there with things Ive seen with my G37XS, (same motor)... Check plugs. If they are fouled, it will act like this. I know its low mileage but if it doesnt get its legs stretched once in a while they will clog up. Clean the MAF's. I know you said he checked them, but if its an oiled K&N then it could mess them up. (I personally hate the oiled K&N filters and shouldnt really use them on a MAF car). Check your rubber intake hoses (where the MAF's are). Mine would not accelerate off the line for anything but woke up pretty well one above 3K or 30mph or so. It didnt throw a code either.. but the rubber hose had cracks underneath where you couldnt see it. Once I replaced it, the problem went away. Bob

No, I had the coupe:

It WAS one of the worst cars that I had ever owned. On a trip during the summer, the A/C unit "grenaded" (the word that the dealership used), sending shrapnel throughout the system. The system was replaced under warranty, but a year later, was losing refrigerant through holes in the rubber lines.

It's highly unlike it would be the air filters, and in no way would it be the wheels either your dealership sounds like they have no idea what they are doing.
Definitely take it too another shop, even a Nissan dealer if no other Infiniti dealerships are near-by.

Did you end up clicking on my link and checking in your foot-well around the brake pedals for the stoppers?

Holy cow it's time to run to the hills.

They're fishing cuz they don't have a clue and subliminally putting the blame on you.

Yeah I watched the video thanks for the link.

Service manger put in a call and is waiting for a Infiniti engineer to see if he can get some help getting pointed in the right direction. But this dealership definitely has me irritated. Simple fact the shop foremanís fix for this was for my wife to driver aggressively.

I let them know wonít be picking it up unless itís fixed. Not a bs bandaid an actual fix. Yesterday the service manager said he isnít even sure that they can fix this. Let him know upfront either fix or get a buyback started. This is unacceptable.

Appreciate everyoneís help. Will update as I find out more

The shop foreman is grasping at straws. Probably thinks your wife drove the car passively and the transmission learned her driving habits. MAF's and plugs should be checked for fouling if they haven't done so already. I wouldn't use oiled filter media for any reason.

One more plea to all members to post their locations under their avatars. It could be useful to giving advice as to how to find a better dealership - and to tell all others which dealerships to avoid.
