Default Sport + Features

Hey guys! Just wanted to ask if anyone knows how to access the Sport + mode and Sport + steering on a Luxe trim? Is it possible to access those modes?

I'm not a big fan of how loose the steering wheel is. I want something real stiff and no, I don't have the option to trade in for a RS or Sport model at the moment.

You have to have the Direct Adaptive Steering option in order to adjust the steering wheel effort and turning ratio.

My non DAS has sport steering option. I believe it just adds steering effort? The ratio is fixed obviously. Maybe you can clarify why I have steering in my personal mode choices and what it does do. @Avedis53

I learn something new every day. If you have the EPS system, then there is a Standard and Sport setting for the steering effort. With DAS, there are Standard, Sport and Sport+ settings for steering effort and steering response.

There are only two steering options for Non-DAS, Standard and Sport (no + or anything in between). Steering response IMO isn't outright stiff for Sport but it's progressive.

Only true sport models have the sport + mode. The reason being cause they have the upgraded suspension. In 2018 you could get a sport model but without the “performance package” it was not a true sport, same with 2019 signature models. Very dumb idea with the performance package, this included the upgraded calipers, paddle shifters, and suspension which gives sport +

Sport+ has less nanny tec intervention and MAYBE a slightly more agressive shifting. I have noticed a different exhaust note in Sport and Sport+ at the same RPM on the highway. This leads me to believe that the tune is also more agressive. At 65-70 MPH switching from standard to sport changes the sound. It's a bit louder and "sharper" sounding. 🤔

and when you use the manual mode the sound is even better, when downshifting.
