I don't recall how the Q50 works but in my TL, if I set the temperature very low, let's say the lowest, the recirculation is always on. If I set it to a reasonable number, say 72 or 74, the recirculation might start on but then turn off once the cabin is cooled down.

OP, what temperature are you setting your climate control to?

I set up 21C, outside is often between 25 and 30C.

Up topic.

I have recorded noise from steering wheel.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6...1BJV3NabzR0akk

I found this below. Do you think that this can also be applied to q50s 2018 on Europe market?
Dealer said that checked wheel and everything is ok I will come back to him.

There's ITB15-001 for fixing the steering wheel noise:
2014 Q50; INTERMITTENT SQUEAK FROM STEERING WHEEL WHEN TURNED
APPLIED VEHICLE: 2014 Q50 (V37) 2014 Q50 Hybrid (V37)
IF YOU CONFIRM
The steering wheel makes a faint squeaking/ticking noise when turned left or right.
NOTE: Due to the faint nature of this noise it may be necessary to lift front wheels off of the ground so that it can be isolated.
ACTION:
Remove driverís side airbag and apply felt tape with the SERVICE PROCEDURE starting on page 2.

It appears to me that when AAR is enabled, the recirc hard button light remains on even though the climate control is switching between recirc and fresh air. It feels like it is switching as the vent temperature is colder when it is recirculating vs. fresh air. That's my observation FWIW.

Similar to the AC light always remaining lit on some vehicles when the climate control is set to AUTO. Just because the light is ON does not mean the AC is running...

I run with AAR on pretty much all the time. My Recirc light indication toggles on and off as the AAR system determines. That is what I've observed. Putting climate control into auto and setting AAR on, I never have to turn A/C on or off the entire summer. It does it all for me and does a great job according to my desired temp setting.

I guess I need to observe the recirc hard button light a little closer. I didn't see it toggle on and off but in the daylight, it's hard to see at times so it may have done so. With AAR enabled, I did notice the temperature get slightly colder when on recirc vs. when on fresh air.
