Hello,

Wheels.

Would Advan RS2 wheels in 19x9 +29 all the way around fit the RWD RS stock height (not really thinking of lowering)? How would this affect performance?

Fronts are the same width, about 10lbs lighter, rears are .5in narrower then stock, like 12lbs lighter, can still run stock 265. By my calculations, the fronts will push outward by 18mm vs stock with the same tires and the back will push out by 15mm vs stock but the 265 will likely add a little more poke?

Tires.

I would run my stock 265 PS4S’s I just bought in the back (max allowed tire on a 9in rim) and the stock Dunlop’s upfront (too new to change).

Reason.

I love the look and can get a great price on a local sale and the website lists the weight at only 8.6kg (less than 19lbs) while some forums list it at 20-22lbs per wheel.

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Would it look ok? Would you say there would be performance gains?

My understanding is that non sport brakes obviously no problem fitment wise with only 9" wide, but if you have sport brakes... for a 9.5 wheel, i know you'd need atleast a +25 offset or less (or a spacer..) to fit. So subtract the extra half inch from rim (9.5 wide for my calculations to the 9 wide for yours) (13mm), i believe you'd need a +38 on a 19x9. Hope someone else can chime in to confirm

So far I looked into having a 265 on a 9in rim and I feel comfortable with the fit. Feel free to tell me otherwise, but I don’t believe that it’d be “baloony”. If anything, this may be beneficial in terms of slight wheel protection.

Now, clearing brakes is a different issue. Can anyone confirm @Society ‘s suspicion?

OP:

Please put your vehicle information in your signature. It helps to know what you have...Sport/non-Sport...RWD/AWD...Red/Silver.

In short, as was stated previously by OTW...265 on 9" is pushing it. Your tire will roll over easily.
