Default infiniti Q50 3.7 AWD FUEL economy

My 2014 infiniti Q50 3.7 fuel economy is 21.2L/100km, which is way higher than I expected, anyone is same as me?
Its a new car, ive been driving it for 1200km now
Is it too high or normal?
I always drive in standard, never sports.

Do you reset the economy after every fill? If not then it is giving you the average since the last time the economy was reset.

I'm I translating this correctly .... ~ 5 gallons per 60 miles ..... 12 MPG ??? That doesn't seem very good to me

I agree, though after each fill up and switching from Eco on the Freeway and mostly Sport I average 23.9.... So I'm actually Higher than the OP.... I'm also on 275 rear tires.... Not sure how or why but even my Dealer is like that's Great! But too I'm a RWD.... That is a difference

My AWD is new. I've been getting around 14-15 L/100k. Not as good as i ws hoping, but i've been driving aggressively in Sport.

I'm now trying to drive more regular and I'm around 13, and when i use eco, I'm around 11.

I'm now trying a combo to see what happens.

I have after 1 year 6k on my Q50s AWD. I live in Colorado 5280 feet above sea level, so things may not be equal. I average about 24mpg.

I would think those at lower elevation would get maybe half a gallon or more better MPG.

Remember to just hold you talk button down and say "fuel economy". then reset after you fill up. you will never see a high number if your trips are 5-10 minutes. Try hand calculating between the next two time you fill your tank. That may see a better number than the computer.

Cheers.

my AWD on pure highway gives between 8-9L/100km with speed averaging between 120 and 130km/h.

In the city I get between 11 and 12. This is a 3.7L engine so I don't expect maricles lol and to be this fuel eco average is actually pretty great. I have seen fat worse on 3.5L engines.

It all depends on your driving habits and how heavy your foot it. If you just bought the car i'm pretty sure you're pushing it, well I did anyways.
I have hybrid and the first two months I was averaging 29L/100KM lol believe it.

Now I kinda drive normal/sport sometimes. I think its reading 17L/100KM? never seen it lower but I also warm it up quite a bit, which makes it way worse.

Something seems really wrong with either these numbers or a few of your cars. I have a 2014 Q50S and I get on average 12-12.5L/100 km and I do a mix of highway and city driving. I am aggressive with my car and drive it much harder than I should. I don't believe numbers that are around the 20L/100 km...doesn't make much sense. I am hoping people are getting mpg and L/km mixed up
