Default 2018 Majestic White RS400 Build Thread

I guess it's time I started one of these... finally have some stuff to write about.

Picked up my baby back in March and she looked a little like this:

Bone stock, nothing on there but a nice coat of Majestic White that really needed to be waxed.

Then, for our one month anniversary I bought her some intakes Don't have any pics of the install process and I did take some sound clips that I have yet to edit into a nice video... but I'll those eventually lol.

This past weekend my buddy and I decided to give her a new look:

And after 6 hours of painstaking work here she is:

I took her for a nice detail and wax after but I don't have any pictures after that.

Next steps are:

And a couple goodies from Amazon to complement the hood wrap (you can call me a ricer it's ok I wanted to make my car unique the way I like it):

I'll post some updated pics when I get that stuff on there as well.

UPDATE 05/08/2018:

Stillen intakes uninstalled and returned sad times.
Both my Amazon orders were also flops, the wind deflectors looked like crap and the carbon fiber faux lip looked great but fell off at some point between Saturday and now. Oh well.

ON THE PLUS SIDE. I had a muffler delete bolt-on fabbed. Essentially a straight pipe axle back... if we can call it that.

Anywho, pics and sound clips for you guys. I LOVE the sound. No drone on the highway or when cruising, only when going from a light or passing someone.

and finally video, had to post on instagram i'm sorry but shameless plug for my small and lame IG account for my baby:

Looking forward to the hate and the love! Haha thanks for reading.

Okay, so Paypal was offering me 24 months 0% equal payments on a purchase of $650+ from ebay soooo I went all out.

In the next couple of weeks, once everything arrives, I will be doing:

- Beluga Racing Y-pipe (opted with them over Megan since Beluga is in Dallas so close enough if I run into any problems)

- DIY intakes using silicone post MAF hoses and some AEM 2.75" intakes and the stock MAF housings

- OCC along with the DIY intakes

- LPFP in-tank upgrade with a Walbro 450LPH pump (flows at about 323 LPH at the 60psi/12V that our car utilizes... this is about 100 LPH more than our shitty stock HPFP and like 250LPH more than our shitty stock LPFP. Should get rid of AFR blips at high boost)

- And got a Dragy unit to get that last $150 to push me over $650 to utilize the promo.

All for a cool price of $27 and change per month.

I'll keep y'all posted!!

So that sh*t can empty your tank in just 10mins (when run at full capacity the entire time)

Just for reference, keep in mind that LPH ratings on in-tank pumps are generally measured at zero psi, and HPFPs are measured at operating pressure.

No doubt - the Walbro is rated 450 LPH for 13.5V at 0psi but is rated 323 LPH for 12V 60 psi according to Radium's website: Walbro F90000274 E85 Fuel Pump

Whereas the stock LPFP is well below 135 LPH (stock GTR if I'm not mistaken). Not sure if those ratings are at 0psi or operating pressure, but it can only go down with pressure sooo....
