Default Wheel/Tire Fitment Opinions Please

Iíve being agonizing over wheels forever. Iím close to a decision.
(At least Iíve decided on Tein Flex Z coil overs.)

I want to go with Konig Oversteers. They check all the boxes. Cheap, fairly light weight for the price (23.6-25 lbs), concave, gloss black, okay offsets and okay design.

Set up one: 19x9.5 +25 square wheels with 255/35ZR19 tires, which are a bit bigger than my stock tires.

@Scary is essentially running this set up, if you include spacers. Iíve seen pics of this setup on his Q and others. Itís a tad beyond flush but not too crazy. Iíd really have to see it in person to get a good idea of how it looks. I want an aggressive look. According to fitment.com its a no rub-no scrub set up with coil overs.

Set up two: Staggered 19x8.5 +30 and 19x9.5 +40

The pros to the +25ís are greater concavity and a possibly more aggressive stance.

The cons are that they may have a bit of poke and I canít run as wide tires.

A pro to the staggered set up is that I can run a 275/35 in the rear. Wider look, better traction and closer to the stock circumference with those and 245/40 fronts. Both would be closer to stock size than the 255ís.

The cons with the second choice are less concavity and potentially a less aggressive stance.

Any opinions would be very welcome.

2015 Obsidian Black, Premium, RWD. SunTek CXP 25%, 5% Rear. Blubatoverlays, LED and reverse cut out tail light tints. Midnight Black Grille. Konig Oversteer Wheels 19x8.5 +30, 19x9.5 +40. Continental Extreme Contacts 245/40, 275/35. Tein Flex Z Coilovers. Chrome delete (Except fugis and mirrors).

I just put your second choice on and they're aggressive enough for me. The concave of the +35 in the rear is very noticeable with the wheels I got.

@jododor said:

19x9.5 +40 with 275 for rear fitment is a good rule of thumb for not getting into trouble with your fender. But also was thinking of going with 265’s.

The +25’s are still on backorder too.

I'll go grab a video and upload for you this afternoon. The sidewall pokes but all tread is within the boundary of the fender, which is exactly what I was going for. It's about as wide as you can go without spraying water all over the car when dickheads water their grass in the daytime.

@Scary Ďs setup. With spacers = +25.

Another +25 example.

I didn't get the video, but here's what the poke looks like.

Thatís great, thanks for putting up with my neurosis.

Iím probably going to go with +25ís if they get back in stock. Iím buying out my lease in August. If theyíre still out for another couple of weeks, Iíll probably go with the staggered set up. Iím sure itís fine either way.

Either that or Iíll continue to agonize over another 1000 choices.

II started asking questions here back in December of 18. People here were probably sure I wasn't going do anything until I popped back up a couple weeks ago, lol. Don't worry about it. Wait and get what you want.

Your set up looks good. Well worth the wait. Are you going for a drop?
