Iíve being agonizing over wheels forever. Iím close to a decision.
(At least Iíve decided on Tein Flex Z coil overs.)
I want to go with Konig Oversteers. They check all the boxes. Cheap, fairly light weight for the price (23.6-25 lbs), concave, gloss black, okay offsets and okay design.
Set up one: 19x9.5 +25 square wheels with 255/35ZR19 tires, which are a bit bigger than my stock tires.
is essentially running this set up, if you include spacers. Iíve seen pics of this setup on his Q and others. Itís a tad beyond flush but not too crazy. Iíd really have to see it in person to get a good idea of how it looks. I want an aggressive look. According to fitment.com its a no rub-no scrub set up with coil overs.
Set up two: Staggered 19x8.5 +30 and 19x9.5 +40
The pros to the +25ís are greater concavity and a possibly more aggressive stance.
The cons are that they may have a bit of poke and I canít run as wide tires.
A pro to the staggered set up is that I can run a 275/35 in the rear. Wider look, better traction and closer to the stock circumference with those and 245/40 fronts. Both would be closer to stock size than the 255ís.
The cons with the second choice are less concavity and potentially a less aggressive stance.
Any opinions would be very welcome.
