Default 2018 Q50 luxe brake upgrade

I have a 2018 Q50 luxe rwd, I want to buy wheels for it but before I do that I want to do a full break upgrade front and back (bigger and better calipers, break pads and rotors oh and lines if needed). Does anyone know if the break set up on a sport or redsport will fit mine? Would it just be a clean swap out of all components? Would this work with the stock wheels?

I also hear that the break set up on the G37s/350z fit the Q50. I believe they have a bigger and better break set up than a Q50 luxe currently does. Does anyone know if that is true?

Lastly, if you have a 2018 Q50 luxe and you've upgraded your breaks what have you gone with? Need some advice.

Thanks in advance for and recommendations

Z1 has what you need as a full kit link is below, as for clearing the brakes you need 18's that are 245 minimum if I recall correctly.

I may sell my OEM sport brakes with OEM rotors, as I have 380mm + 370mm BBK's inbound. I also have Z1 drilled n slotted 2 piece brake rotors which I may also part with as well. It all depends on how the install goes. I may like my current set up for ease of maintenance and rim fitment better. Im still considering kerping them as back up.

If you decide to seel your OEM set up I would be interested. All I would need is calipers. Let me know if you do.

Since you have a Luxe w/non-sport brakes, you'll need to modify/bend/cut the OEM dust shields. You'll also need longer length caliper mounting bolts for the Akebono calipers.

You should be able to use the existing brake lines, as they tie-in similarly with a banjo bolt fitting at the center of the caliper body.

Since you are going through an upgrade, I'd spend the $110 and get some SS lines for improved pedal feel:

I am using this same set with my StopTech BBK on my Q60.

When and if I sell them I will post something in the classified section of the forum.

My new BBK AP Radi Cal-II brakes are shipping shortly. I just authorized the CC charge yesterday after the CC co fraud department called me.
Once I get them on I'll have a better idea of what I'll do.
Just FYI: Z1 2 piece rotors and Carbotech XP12 front XP10's rear btake pad set up is excellent with Sport calipers. I have yet to get them to fade. Initial bite is flat out impressive as is the ability to modulate them. Noncorrosive brake dust too. Only down side is amount of dust with heavy use, and some squealing. I tracked them for 2 days and my instructor was impressed by this setup. Hense my not wanting to sell them until I use the new bigger 6 piston front, and 4 piston rear brake set up. I do have the Z1 SS brake lines which I will keep. I also switched to DOT 4 brake fluid.

Come on John! We all know you won't sell any of the parts you've taken off the car. You're a hoarder!
