Default 2017 SILVER Sport Wheel Questions

There are a lot of threads and posts about stock Q50 and Red Sports. However, I am struggling to find clarity about the Silver Sport wheel specs.

I have a 2017 AWD Q50S (Silver Sport). I would like to buy aftermarket wheels and tires for occasional Autocross fun.
I am pretty certain that the stock SS wheels are 19" x 8.5". This pic is not my car, but these are exactly the wheels on mine.

My questions:
  1. Lug spacing/pattern = 5 x 114.3mm Is this correct?
  2. Are the 2017 Silver Sport brakes the same size (both front and rear) as the 2017 Red Sport?
  3. Are the 2017 Silver Sport brakes the same size (both front and rear) as the 2018/19 Red Sport?
  4. What are the factory Silver Sport 19" rims' offset? (I have heard 50 but I have also seen 40)
  5. Has anyone found 18" wheels which will fit over the Silver Sport brakes? (Is this even possible?)
  6. Has anyone found a good 19" wheel for your 2017 Silver Sport?

My goals:
Lighter wheels that don't break the bank.
Grippy summer tires which will perform better at Autocross/AutoX
Fitment is just shy of flush and zero rub risk during hard track cornering
Since AWD, I am only slightly tempted to pursue staggered for looks alone, but will probably not go there.

My plan is to drive stock wheels/tires daily, then switch to these new wheel/tires for AutoX. But, if I find something that looks pretty darn good, they may stay on all the time! ;-)

If any other Silver Sport owners out there have a recommendation, I'd love to receive make/model/size wheels that worked for you.

Gotyourweels has light forged wheels at a very good price. 18x9 would be my first choice with enough offset to clear the Acabono Calipers. Or go 19◊9" which look excellent. SS and RS BBK are the same only the color is different.
Josh will set you up! PM GotYourWheels. Josh was a big help!

Brakes between silver sport and red sport are the same, but are painted different colors. 18" wheels have been done many times. I have 18" winter wheels. I suggest you check out the wheel fitment thread that has a ton of info in it.

If you go 19◊9" run the 255's, square if AWD. Check my signature. The VS02's are, and still are my favorite style. Mine weigh 20 lbs each. I find no lack of traction with my car. NOWAY would I want wider than 255 in the front. With my LSD 255's in the rear are more thsn adiquate. I've road raced my car at Plamer Motorsports park. Check YouTube videos of "Clockwise" and check out the course. Turn #6 is my favorite!

Thanks, damonb10. Knowing that the brakes are the same size, means that I can apply all of the Red Sport posts to my situation.

18" for go, 20" for show, 19" for both. 19" would give a lot of options.

hahaha. Yeah, that is a bit bold for my tastes, but cool none the less.

So, if I like fitment where the tread width and wheel width are the same (not the stretched look), and if I want to go with 18" wheels, I am probably wanting 18x9 +35 or maybe even 18x10 +40 to get over the brakes and get a similar fitment look to the 19" S stock wheels?
