Can't wait!!! Really need something to wake up this Hybrid engine!!! Put me down pending final look and sound.

Can I make some requests?

1. 4"-4.5" tips
2. Rolled Tips (maybe single wall option?)
3. Please no burnt tips (maybe an option?)
4. Preferably a subtle exhaust with a really nice note and maybe an optional louder exhaust for us "enthusiasts". (different resonators/mid-pipes?)
5. No drone
6. Excellent Fitment
7. Almost no sound at cruising speeds

Maybe something with this decibel level and maybe one with a lower decibel level. http://youtu.be/GHihqG9TjMQ

To respond to your requests:

1. 4" tips are most likely going to be the option
2. Dual layer tips so it dissipates the heat from getting to the bumper
3. Two option for tips right now and that would be polished and burnt
4. We are trying to retain the VQ throaty tone
5. Drone is inevitable but you can count on ARK having the least amount of any other exhaust!
6. Excellent fitment is the quality of ARK
7. This will be difficult as sound is very subjective but we will definitely go with the lowest amount possible

For now we are developing one system for the Q50, it is impossible to make resonated test pipes for the Q50 as there is absolutely no room below

I am interested in a catless midpipe only. Will you be making one of those?
I will be hitting up Tanabe, Megan as well.

Looking forward to hearing and seeing the first exhaust system for our Q50's. I'm coming from a 2010 G37S and I will admit, I miss its wonderful exhaust note. Hoping the ARK system will make my new baby sound just as good :D.

I was successful at installing a set of hi flow cats and a 2.5" y-pipe I had off my G37 sedan without any fitment issues. As of the mid-pipe back it seems like an altered version of a G37 coupe exhaust. How is your progress coming along?! Looking forward to see what muffler design you guys will go with and most importantly sound!

What year was the G37 and where did you get the high flow cats from? I'm very interested in the fitment of these parts. Do you have any pictures to post?
