Nice, looking forward to your progress. Planning to do a Z1/Akebono brake upgrade kit
with SS brake lines and 2 piece rotors, etc. for my 2020 RS AWD Q...but @ $1,600 for
the kit upgrade is going to have to wait till I save up for it.

I'm confused. I get the SS brake lines and 2-piece rotors as an upgrade, but doesn't your RS already have the Akebono BBK?

The upgrade kit has the slotted light weight 2 piece rotors (front and back axles), upgraded pads, stainless steel braided brake lines, and Motul HP brake fluid.

I don't need the brake calipers because because I have the Red Sport 400 model Q50 in AWD configuration.

Ok, I see the kit now. Which pads are you going with?

BTW guys: The Raybestos S-Wave Slotted rotors are about 5lbs lighter than OEM blanks I'm pretty sure.
I believe both Raybestos and ACDelco source it from the same supplier and they're about the same weight as OEM.

There is no difference between Hybrid sport Vs regular sport rotors, right?

Interesting, I am not 100% sure, someone else running the Raybestos S-Wave told me that. So just going off hearsay.

I currently have that rotor on my Q but it's the ACDelco 18A2609SD. It's exactly the same as the Raybestos (front) model you posted above. Amazon lists weight for both models at 29.3lbs which is pretty much close to the figures I got when I weighed them. Only reason why I bought the ACDelco is the price (was exactly $50 each).

John Candy I miss more. Uncle Buck is one of my favorites. I watch it a few times a year. "I keep a hatchet in my truck, want to see it?" 😂🤣😂
