I'm sure everyone is super excited about the engine placed in the Eau Rouge concept, but in reality the bigger news is the addition of a 2.0L turbo 4 option finally coming to the Q50. This is the engine I was hoping for at launch, and I really hope they pair this with a manual transmission.

The numbers for the China and EU market are 214hp and 236ft-lb (320nM), which seems very weak and not competitive. I have a feeling they will beef up the numbers to at least match the BMW 328 at 240hp/260ft-lb.

Finally it comes up! Yeah the number is bad but I should have waited for this due to mpg and turbo. Hopefully they could match at least bmw 320.

BMW 320 is listed at 180hp, so the current numbers already exceed it at 214hp. Audi will be raising their 2.0 engine output to 220hp in the A3, so I assume the A4 will get a bump as well.
