So I've had my Q50 for 2-2.5 days and the leather on the seat bottom on both sides of the seat is wrinkled already!

I had the same issue in my 2007 G35x. Is this normal?!?! Should I complain to the dealer? Seems weird that both my passenger and driver side seats have wrinkles on the seat bottom bolsters.

Sounds like a personal DNA issue.

Mine is wrinkled on the seat bottom side, also. I think it is normal. I have yet to see any leather seat not wrinkled on the bottom sides.
Make sure to use leather conditioner. That will help the leather in the long run.

You old geezers need to give this kid a break
Here ya go, Chris2k5. Notice the bottom side next to the door got more wrinkle than the opposite side. The reason is because I end up sitting on it more when I get out the door.

Had the same issue with both of my G's. I think it's just normal wear. That part sticks up and out more than the rest of the seat and gets compressed more. I don't think there is much you can do about it.

I have seen so e G owners with cracks where the wrinkles started and got those bolsters replaced under warranty but it was a very small number (maybe one or two people) commenting on a G forum about it.

It adds character - don't sweat it :)

i've got that too, my seats at the lowest setting which means when getting in and out of the car, my ass pretty much crushes that section, LOL i've been trying to figure out other ways of getting in and out of the car without touching that section.

You could always put a sheepskin cover over your leather seats to protect them :D

Geezer advice: admittedly, your seat is too low. Raise it so that your elbows are just touching the armrests. All of a sudden your cabin will be airier, and you'll be able to see over the steering wheel.

Other remedies: sit on a phone book; keep a thicker wallet in one hip pocket, and your keys in the other (folks here advise that it's ok to keep keys in your pockets); get a buttocks lift; get plastic slipcovers for the seats.

Did I ever tell you the time I had sheepskins in my X1/9, the top was off, and it rained? There weren't enough paper towels in 2 counties capable of absorbing all that water. Still, in a convertible, there's nothing better than sheepskins.
