The flow of cars from the "port" seems to have halted in my neck of the woods. Deliveries of Q50's now quoted for August 23, "plus or minus a week". I have my VIN. ETA originally was August 2.

Sounds like another hold to try to solve a bug, maybe the InTouch "freeze" or something worse. Considering the black eye these holds give, it must be serious.

A letter from President Johan de Nysschen explaining the problem would help a lot. The letter addressed to those waiting. Or at least a letter to the dealers so they can explain to their customers.

Several of us have already been told the same thing. 8/2 deliveries are now 8/23 give or take a week. We got 2 years/20000 miles "free maintenance" (whatever that means) for our trouble.

I was told today by my salesman that my car was still at the port of LA and he said Corp said it should be in SF "any day now." Doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy. It came ashore sometime mid to late July and should have been here by now under normal circumstances, which are anything but normal at this point.

It is "Basic maintenance" so it covers for first year: Replace engine oil and filter and rotates tires (at 5,000 and 10,000 miles). Basic service kinda stinks compared to what is included in the Premium package. I bought two additional years (to make it three) of the basic for $900. I should have just gone for the Premium (again as I did with my G37) for $1400 after seeing how little the basic covers!

It is 2 years that Infiniti is giving out. They called me and gave it to me too. 2 years basic maintenance or choice of $300 gift card to any Infiniti retailer.

Right! I went with the gift card since I purchased the maintenance already.

Just send a message to Infiniti Facebook and voice your concerns. I complained about the initial delay as well as the lock up I experienced.

What do you plan to use the gift card on? It expires in 60 days, and it can only be used at an Infiniti dealership.
I was told that it expires in 6 months, not 60 days. Either way, I am HOPING that I can either get the illuminated kick plate or maybe the ambiance lighting.....whichever can be done at the dealership.

I'm going to call the guy that called me yesterday to find out if it is indeed six months versus 60 days. I also REALLY wish they could have just upgraded my basic service that I bought to the premium, but they don't have that capability.

Yeah, I was the first in my extended family (there are over 34 of us from my parents down) to get on Facebook and now they are all on it. I took a six month hiatus from NYE to end of June this year and my family hated it because that is the one place we all communicate (have a closed group just for the family).

That's what I'm currently arguing with them...trying to get them to just give me maintenance for the term of my lease...because I already have 2 years of maintenance. It is 60 days. The guy told me on the phone several times it expires within 60 days.

Hmmm. Ambient lighting would be nice, do the connections already exist for this under the dash?

HAHAHA....Duryea is the same guy that you are talking to! He is about to call you because it is 6 months not 60 days as he told you! ;) He said, "Are you talk about Erik?" hahahaha He'll call as soon as we are off the phone!
