Anyone else sick of those annoying fingerprints on the app screen?

Well, I don't know how many times you have to touch the screen. As for me, it's only rarely(to play something off the iPod), or to rarely change a setting. The cloth that comes with the car works well, and takes 10 seconds to clean it completely. To each his own. (One more thing that technology has given us. )

I find it odd that Infiniti chose to give the upper nav screen an anti-glare coating and the lower app screen a glossy finish. The anti-glare coating does not show fingerprints nearly as much as the glossy one, but I almost never touch the upper anti-glare screen and touch the lower glossy one all the time.

Also, where does the "included" located? I've been using my own microfiber cloth.

When I got my Q50 my Infiniti branded microfiber was(and still is) in the center console. That is also where they were located in the Q50s that I test drove before mine arrived.

My dealer gave us two of them. Maybe one was yours...

Any problems with installation? It appears it is a dry install - it that true?

Does it feel like it will be durable? Which one did you end up buying?

I love this idea. Where did you buy the screen protector? Can you provide a link??

It was a custom order. I sent in the dimensions and they cut it out. My film type was "triple A".

Installation was a breeze. Just slap it on and use a credit card to push out the bubbles. You can peel and realign.

My original order for the app area was just a regular rectangle. So contact them before you buy.

Make sure you ask for the trapezoid version. The "Lower display" I ordered previously was just a rectangle to cover the screen area.

Maybe they used the dimensions I gave them as a default now? I don't know.

I read that we were supposed to have an included cloth for the screen, but I thought it was a misprint. Guess I'll be calling sales consultant.

I had it in the glovebox when I bought it.

Measurement of lower display trapezoid

This is what I measured in millimeters:

Top edge: 197mm
Bottom edge: 181mm
Height: 117mm - from bottom edge of upper screen trim to crease line just above audio/menu/climate buttons.

How do these compare to what you measured VBX?

The guy that installed my 3M had some left over and did the upper and lower screens. Didn't even ask for it but it works great and cleans up easily with a micro fibre towel. May be something to ask your 3M installer about....

Top edge: 195mm
Bottom edge: 180mm
Height: 114mm

NuShield what to order...

I contacted NuShield. They are offering a custom version based on what VBX ordered from them.

You need to select the: "Q50 2014 - apps display custom" option off the drop down list to get the full coverage version.

VBX, thanks for the feed back. It appears I was a bit generous with my measurements. But, better too much than not enough. In the end it didn't matter anyway as I noted above. Your efforts will bear fruit for anyone else interested in a full coverage solution.
