Hi everyone, I’m new to the q50 and just wondering if anyone here is just running jb4 with ldp. Has anyone ran into car issues and will the ldp void any warranty when I take the car in for service, of course with jb4 pulled out.

No problems at my dealership - AMS LDP and my JB4 still on the car - went in for oil changes / service multiple times. Your mileage may vary rule applies to anything done aftermarket and your warranty. ?

No reported issues from going with LDP on their own, and so long as you are conservative with your JB4 maps you shouldn't run into any issues.
As for warranty that depends on your dealer, sometimes they will throw a fit if there are any changes done and other dealerships don't really mind.

Typically exhaust modifications get a pass from most locations, in any event Infiniti can only deny your warranty if the modification can be proven to be the cause of the issue.
So for instance if the Infotainment dies next week they can't blame your exhaust modification, they would need to honor the warranty on the car.

But if you have an exhaust leak or an 02 sensor fails they will probably blame the LDP and you'd need to cover the cost out of pocket.

I was thinking of installing the Megan LDP and Y, will these just bolt onto the stock exhaust (2017 Premium 3.0 AWD)? I am just looking for some better flow without going full CBE. I have a JB4 and also I am planning on installing a new HE. I was looking at the new Mishimoto HE, I did not want to spend the AMS tax and the Mishi looks to be better built then BMS HE. But I also was a little concerned with being such a new product and possible unforeseen issues.

This is a daily driver, so no track/racing will be done, just looking for inexpensive bolt on's to maybe close in on the 400-450HP/TQ range.

EDIT: I did notice that the AMS LDP seem to have the mounting bracket for mounting to the existing mounts on the car that the cat's mounted to. Wondering if there would be additional stress on the system with the Megan LDP's which do not have this mount? I know AMS is well made but is it worth almost 3 times the cost as the Megan's?

I have the Megan's and still using the JB1, if everything is bolted down right. I've had them on for a year now, no problem.

That is good to hear. I figured since they must be much lighter then the stock less support would be needed. Do you also have Y pipe or just the LDP's?

I had the MR LDPs with stock CB and now with a Stillen CB. I have no worries about the missing tabs on the MRs. Everything feels rock solid.
