App Garage ???

App garage won't work until the new software update in the fall. You have to have a special app installed on your phone.

I see. I thought it related to my missing apps from the VID screen. Glad my Intouch is working ok for now.

I feel that Infiniti needs to some sort of restitution for this. My dealership hyped it all up but never said that it don't work. Kind off pisses me off. How do you advertise something like that and sell it when it's not ready to use.

Well, this would've and was supposed to be a very different situation. With everything being cloud-based and virtually upgradeable, it was conceivable that the App Garage would've been something that could be App Garage "ready" allowing for customizable and continuous upgrades in the near future.

Unfortunately for some reason, that doesn't seem to be going as expected

It's called false advertising which is both in moral and illegal. Infiniti and their dealers need to be held responsible.

I am pretty upset about this feature to. I was driving today and went to see if they had a "weather" app. But got the same "Mobile Phone Not Connected". This made me laugh because I was listening to music via BTA. Something needs to be done. I am calling Infiniti ASAP to discuss this!

My weather app works thru the SXM radio, not the phone. Do you have a subscription? I imagine the weather, sports, etc. apps won't work without the subscription.

Some of the stuff from that video like email works if you use the "British" InTouch App.
But unless you really badly need email, it's not worth mucking around with.
Just have to sit and wait until they release an across the board update.

The stuff in the app garage worked from what I recall.
But there isn't exactly a lot of useful stuff in there and/or you need SiriusXM.

I have SXM with weather and traffic but I would think that the app store would be more robust! I have notifications on when I receive emails (which only works half the time but text work every single time). It just seems to be very buggy the whole InTouch interface. No way its just a few cool apps then an email app! It's 2014!!

Sad that we are here almost a year later and no further along! It not like there aren't a dozen other car manufacturers that have been doing something similar that they could copy, I mean learn from....
