That second video is crazy, the way everything is flexing to the beat, even your windshield stickers. Also I forgot the hybrid does that freaky thing of dropping the RPM gauge to zero when it's running on full electric. How long did it take to get used to that?
Actually the flexing of the window stickers and steering wheel is from YouTube trying to take the shakiness out of my video. You'll notice the edges of the video tend to flex where they were trying to stabilize it. It's hard to take a stable video with an iPhone at 85 mph!
By the way, thanks for fixing it so the videos could be previewed! I wasn't sure why it wasn't doing it.
Yea, I guess seeing the car running at 0 rpm at times is a little weird at first, but got used to it pretty quickly. Now, it's probably be a little weird to not see the rpm fall to zero at times. I remember when I drove the gas Q50 loaner, it was suddenly kind of weird not having the hybrid assist/charge gauge to look at. I watch that assist/charge gauge a lot, especially when braking to make sure I'm using more regenerative instead of friction. Sometimes I notice I hit the brakes to quickly for regenerative charge and will "reset" the brakes by pulling off the brake and reapplying. Doesn't always work though since sometimes the car is just not in the mood to regenerate.
