My salesperson told me if you hit unlock on the key FOB repeatedly it would roll the windows down but I can't seem to get this feature to work. Was she just mistaken?

I have the Q50S with the nav and deluxe touring but not the tech.

Another idiot salesperson. You don't "hit" the key fob repeatedly. Just hold down the "open" key - for a couple of seconds. The windows(and moonroof) will open.

Thanks. Worked that time. How about putting them back up? Only manual operation on that?

For future people doing searches: if you hold the unlock once it goes halfway open. Hold again and it fully opens.

Can't close em. Safety feature (even though there is anti-pinch) in case you hit it by accident and someone (eg kids) have an arm in there.

On this note, watch having too many keys in your key ring as you can accidentally pop the trunk or roll down the windows and then we'll see a new thread about people's windows being rolled down when they get back to their car at a mall :)

Its a good idea to read the owner's manual before operating new vehicle or watch videos::p

That shouldn't be. Holding the unlock button continuously should open the windows the entire way. Try it again.

He most likely stopped holding the button so it stopped half way thru!

Auto Roll down works if you press Unlock, and Press and Hold Unlock.

To roll the windows up again without entry, just insert the key and turn to the lock position and hold until close.

If youre looking for auto up from key, there is a module for that, costs less than $100. Works amazing. Just close the door once the car is off and it rolls the windows up for you.

As stated you can roll up with the key but it will not close the sunroof.
I didn't see that in the manual so I'm sorry if I posted incorrect info before.

Can you tell me where that is stated or do a cut and paste?

I was always under the impression that you couldn't raise the windows with the key fob.

Thanks!

True, you can't roll up the windows with the key fob, but you can with the key. Look on page 3-4 in the manual.
