This used to work on my Q50, but I noticed this morning, it was not tilting down anymore. I spent 15 minutes looking through the intouch settings but couldn't find it. Does anyone know off the top of their head where that setting is?

I know on the older cars, if the mirror switch (the one to adjust the mirrors) is set to the middle, instead of the either the left or right side, the mirrors wouldn't tilt down. Not sure if its the same with the Q. I have mine always set to the right side just out of habbit.

Ah, that would explain it. Thanks. I have it set to the middle.

I don't know, I'm at work and haven't gone down to the parking garage to try...but I would imagine that is what caused it. Previously, it was set to the left mirror, but yesterday I changed it to the middle...

That seems odd. Why would it be like that? Is it just a simple way of making this an optional thing?
Not how my M works, but I like how they have done it. I kinda hate when I back out of my garage, and my passenger mirror tilts down, cause I can't see my wife's Odyssey in the driveway. As it is in the Q, we can turn it on/off and to either side when we want it.

I wasn't even aware of that function (always keep the select switch in the middle so I don't accidentally move a mirror's position). Tried it today and don't care for it, so back to the middle it is :)

If I remember correctly, auto-dimming tilt-down mirrors is part of any car with a package that contains the word Deluxe.

so nice to be able to use the search function.

I have always kept the mirror coontrol in thr middle position.

lately, I noticed the side mirrors tilting when in reverse. I couldnt find any controls in the vehicle menus.

thank gawd I can trun it off again...by virtue of the side mirror selector switch.

You should've started a new thread asking how to do it ;)

You must have finally cleaned the interior and bumped the switch.
