Someone let me know if I am beating a dead horse. Been glancing at the forums for about a month and I'm curious if there are any suspension options (especially springs) out that I've missed or coming down the pike for the AWD Q?!

I know the RS-R Coilovers will fit the Hybrid. However, they want to get a Hybrid in to check the springs rates and dampening for the coilovers and make sure they are ideal. Most likely the Coilovers for the hybrid will be ready within a month of the test fitting which should take place mid April.

Are there any other options as well? What about those that are DAS equipped?

I spoke with RS-R about this and am looking into the easiest way to recalibrate the DAS. The only issues with the DAS and lowering is the sensors. You can reset them after lowering manually or through the dealership. I haven't learned how to do it yet though.

RS-R will have springs and coilovers for the AWD Q50 ready pretty soon. The coilovers are looking like they will be ready by the end of April. The RWD and AWD Springs are taking a little longer because the design is a bit unique. I would expect the springs to be ready by mid May.

Thank you! I emailed them and they said check back in a couple months but thanks for the detail! Cannot wait!

If the Q is anything like the G, you can use the springs from the rwd and put them on the awd, but it will lower .5 inch more the it advertise. :) I do know it have a different rear suspension set up than the G spring/strut together instead of a seperate bucket, but still think it would work.

I was wondering about the ride of the 2 options for the AWD's? Anyone out there riding on the down sus or super downs on the AWD Q50 with the DAS steering? Did you have to recalibrate the steering because of the drop? Also, there was a thread on here about the vehicle "shuddering" on acceleration and it seemed unresolved. Any facts out there on these questions would be greatly appreciated!

I ended up purchasing the Down SUS springs for my Q50S Hybrid AWD w DAS. No recalibration needed. I originally planned on the recalibration, and was saving the recall on it till after the springs were installed but when I had one of my run flats replaced under warranty, they did the recall... I was not happy. But it did give me a chance to answer your question.. no recal needed and still straight as an arrow!

I can't speak to the shudder issue, never experienced it or even heard of it.

Sounds great, thanks for the info. Is there any pics of your Q on here with the drop?

No, no pics yet. I was holding off to enter QotM, but was waiting to borrow my friends DSLR to take nice pics :)
Sweet, I'll keep my eye out for it! Thanks again.
