Any chance they will work on the Hybrid Sport too?Yes, we will be carrying RS-R Springs and Coilovers pretty soon. We helped them get a Q50 AWD for R&D (not an easy task in California) last week and they should have their first production test model in the next month and a half. You can thank Rockmando (Ricky) for loaning us his Q50.
Suspension should be the same on sport and non-sport hybrid, so my guess is yes. YMMVAny chance they will work on the Hybrid Sport too?
I spoke with RS-R about this and am looking into the easiest way to recalibrate the DAS. The only issues with the DAS and lowering is the sensors. You can reset them after lowering manually or through the dealership. I haven't learned how to do it yet though. Are there any other options as well? What about those that are DAS equipped?
BC-Racing will take care of the AWD setup. PM me for detailsSomeone let me know if I am beating a dead horse. Been glancing at the forums for about a month and I'm curious if there are any suspension options (especially springs) out that I've missed or coming down the pike for the AWD Q?!
Is this going to be a coil-over setup or will they offer lowering springs? I would prefer the latter, can't afford coil-oversBC-Racing will take care of the AWD setup. PM me for details
Thank you! I emailed them and they said check back in a couple months but thanks for the detail! Cannot wait!RS-R will have springs and coilovers for the AWD Q50 ready pretty soon. The coilovers are looking like they will be ready by the end of April. The RWD and AWD Springs are taking a little longer because the design is a bit unique. I would expect the springs to be ready by mid May.
Hurricane, its only the coilovers for now. sorryIs this going to be a coil-over setup or will they offer lowering springs? I would prefer the latter, can't afford coil-overs
-patiently waiting on AWD Hybrid Q50S lowering springs...
I ended up purchasing the Down SUS springs for my Q50S Hybrid AWD w DAS. No recalibration needed. I originally planned on the recalibration, and was saving the recall on it till after the springs were installed but when I had one of my run flats replaced under warranty, they did the recall... I was not happy. But it did give me a chance to answer your question.. no recal needed and still straight as an arrow!I was wondering about the ride of the 2 options for the AWD's? Anyone out there riding on the down sus or super downs on the AWD Q50 with the DAS steering? Did you have to recalibrate the steering because of the drop? Also, there was a thread on here about the vehicle "shuddering" on acceleration and it seemed unresolved. Any facts out there on these questions would be greatly appreciated!
Sounds great, thanks for the info. Is there any pics of your Q on here with the drop?I ended up purchasing the Down SUS springs for my Q50S Hybrid AWD w DAS. No recalibration needed. I can't speak to the shudder issue, never experienced it or even heard of it.
