After seeing the first Graphite Shadow this morning and saw post from gbert15 on SoCal sightings, I decide to start this thread for Bay Area SF to see if any members are in Bay Area. I only know Andrew (Moonlight Q50S Hybrid) and Sinecure (Ruby) are in this area but never seen many of them here.
Funny thing, I saw 3 before I purchased it back in September but none since then. Although my friends said they saw some already.

First report:
This morning around 10:20am, Q50S Graphite Shadows passed me on 280 near pagemill exit in Palo Alto. wHo ThaT??

p.s. After seeing it, now I like the rear even more!

That would be awesome to see modded Q50 with my own eyes. Your Oreo was the first one I saw modded and you just made me wanting so badly to mod it! (some of my friends told me to keep it as it is.. it is nice already). Come on.. it is nice to be unique and has characters. Niceee work on Oreo.. love the name too.
Maybe after I received bonus, I will have spoiler and splitter from Stillen and those sweet CVT wheels from Vossens. If my car is moonlight, I will have the roof wrapped black and black skirt, splitter, and spoilers...

you guys are lucky in SoCal... so many choices...

Thanks bro! I have a hard time seeing cars unmodded now-a-days! Hehe! Even just a conventional aftermarket wheels and drop mod would suffice! Hehe!

Looking forward to what you will do to your Q50 bro! Do what u want with it! At the end of the day u need to satisfy your wants and needs, not others! Do what makes u happy!

I've had a few WTF is that stares from Prius drivers next to me at stoplights.

I think they see the Hybrid badge and do a double take or something.

I've seen just a few Q50's.

Off topic to the Q50, same with the CLA250.
In one week I saw the CAL250 quite a few times, and then really haven't seen any since.

Slightly on topic to the Q50. Where I work we get VPP pricing.
Over the summer there were a lot of new G37's in the parking lot.
It looked like once they knocked down the price of the G37 we had quite a few people at work buy new G37's.
I haven't seen a Q50 at my work yet.

Well, may have been my ride. That is my normal route, and I don't play in ECO mode that often. Coming from a powerful ride before, a tuned RS6, I don't spend much time trying to conserve energy. The Hybrid really does have a nice punch to it, and that should not be wasted seeking a couple of extra MPGs.

I am surprised Q50 hybrid is comparable against RS6. I got gasser but I tested hybrid also. My only issue with Hybrid is the trunk space!!! Q50 itself does not have much space already.

Nice knowing someone who also drives.... don't be a stranger next time. That is my commute time also. Maybe I will see if my gasser can overrun you.

Was rolling next to a graphite hybrid sport on campbell ave for a few seconds tonight.

Mine is now very recognizable. If you see SKI GNAR license plates, that's me. Even more recognizable if I have the roof box on top.

Yours will be easily spotted in this area since I don't see any Q50 with roof rack and it is RED... Definitely saying "Hi" if I see one.

I haven't seen any Q50 red on the road yet.. So far I only saw tons of Moonlight white and one or two black obsidian. The black one is even nicer at night...

I'm up in the Vacaville, Fairfield area. Liquid Platinum Q50S without badging. Right now it's not tinted, but will be real soon. Hardly on the road though, I mostly use my commuter car which is a black 14 Mazda3 Hatchback i-touring. Fun little beater, get 37-40 mpg at 80-85 mph.
