I have a Nexus 4 and it is paired with my Q50 (with all options). I have no problem using bluetooth audio streaming and talking over bluetooth through the car. However, I noticed that when I use Google Maps on my cell phone, no audio is coming from the phone or the car. Does the car need to be in BTA mode to get the audio? I was hoping that I could listen to the Radio/CD and still get Nav directions from my phone over the car speakers.

Same as the iPhone. Before there was Bluetooth Audio, phones could be heard as if an incoming call. Now you can't, and this is called progress.

its a little glitches...even when you have phone 1 paired as a media and phone device everything is cool but than if you pair another device...phone 2 as a phone and media device phone 1 will only work as a phone...

so i than have to delete phone 1 and re-pair for it to work both ways but than phone 2 will now only work as a phone...

I recently just switched to a Galaxy Note 3 from an iphone 5 to take advantage of the ability to send texts but little did I know it was a huge sacrifice. I was actually able to get my iphone 5 to play all sounds coming out of all apps but with my Note 3 it's just blank sounds. Probably the first thing I noticed as my bluetooth music was being paused all the time from notifications, which I can't figure how to stop even by disabling all notifications.

There is a lot of negative attributes towards using an Android phone and it is definitely not worth it to switch just to get the ability to send texts through intouch. I'll add on a few I found.

I found that blue tooth quality was worse and took time to initialize. I have it on bluetooth audio most of the time and every time I get out of the car and come back in, the audio is in slow-mo and takes 5 minutes to get back to speed. I also noticed that during a phone call, and you start the car, it takes way longer for the call to be transferred to the car.The playlists are inaccessible as well.

Also on rare occurences the stupid phone would disconnect from intouch and I have to restart the phone just to get intouch working again and it has happened during phone calls, but usually while playing music.

heat23, Did you check all the audio settings on the phone? I have N5 and nav sound goes through just fine.

Nee, I have not experienced any issues that you are referring to. Perhaps it's just the galaxy that you have.
