I've had this car for about 2 months now and we've gotten a lot done! The dealership has had the car for about a quarter of the time and they replaced a bubbling interior trim piece, a few rattling parts, and ordered a replacement oil cooler since it has a small coolant leak. She also had her 40,000 mile maintenance done.

Now it's time for the fun stuff! Window tint, chrome delete, and Infiniti Helmholtz Sport exhaust.

Looks good! How much did it cost? I'm thinking about doing this myself. I'm going for an all black look.

How did you do it? Wrap or paint? Specifically the chrome on the handles.
I hired someone to use gloss black wrap on all around. I figure if it peels then I can look into something more permanent like paint. The handles look very clean, though. I don't think using the button will cause any issues with them. It's the lettering on the trunk piece that gave us the most troubles - cutting them out wasn't perfect, but close enough you'd never notice it.

I asked around before doing anything. I went with Tint World since they did my tint previously. It was $500 to wrap the window trim, door handles, and trunk chrome accents all in one go.

A local place that specializes in wrap quoted $400 for the trunk and window trim. They didn't want to touch the door handles.

A second local place that specializes in wrap quoted $350 for the window trim and $175 for the handles. They wouldn't touch the trunk accents with that lettering.

If anyone is interested in doing a chrome delete, you might want to check out my dude Andy at: https://m.facebook.com/groups/bluebatoverlays/.

He does pre-cut chrome delete and tail light tints. The tail tints are pre-cut around the lights to make the bright red portions look more modern, without diminishing the light output

One of his installer’s Instagram about ruined me. https://www.instagram.com/garageworks_sd/?hl=en

I’ve seen these mods for a long while but I want my headlight and tail light housings panted and euro styles clear-corner headlight reflectors but I’ll probably never actually fork over the cash.

Then there’s this: https://youtu.be/SfRop4YprDo

Looks good. Don't forget the grill though.

It would look good to black out the grill surround. The inner grill portion is actually looks pretty gray, especially when the chrome surround is blacked out. It’s even more pronounced on the obsidian black.

I’m going to get the blacked out chrome surround with the gloss black grill and install it when I do the rest of my chrome delete.
