Received a recall notice for a DAS update to correct issues with freezing cold temperatures or a drop in battery that is causing DAS to drop into manual mode. I don't know if I am late to the party, or early since I haven't seen anything here recently regarding this subject.

Sounds like people started getting them a week ago or so.

Mine is only for a software reflash for the cold start.

O.K., to be serious: The problems with the DAS are there, and I haven't seen anyone here make light of it. The reason vbx has been called a troll is that he is constantly nit-picking every little thing, and in many cases, he's just plain wrong - or he goes way overboard. There are some things I never comment about, because I have no interest in them. If I see a topic or post that seems outlandish, I may respond by making light-hearted fun of it, but I will rarely indicate that someone is out and out wrong in their opinion. THAT'S where vbx goes wrong. He seems to have a hard time telling the difference between opinion and fact. I hope that clears things up for you.
