Orange Coast Infiniti Sucks! (OC Infiniti)

Rating: 0 out of 5 stars

Yep, time to put this place and the people involved on blast! See my initial experience with this stealership here.

Sales Rep: Harry Conger
General Manager: Peter Marreiros
Finance Guy (at signing) Apparently, he's a SM: Mansoor Ali

The 3 Stooges

Long story short. We shook hands on a deal for a Q50.
Basically $43,500 for a Q50 Premium RWD.
Well, after reviewing the contact, the "agreed upon value was changed to $46,897.02

Even after the "rebates or coupons", there is a 2k difference. Resulting in my monthly payments increasing by over $100 a month.

Read several more bad reviews of the Stealership.

Reminds me of my experience with my local infiniti dealership(metro Infiniti) Walked in and they wouldnt take me seriously, or even sit down and go over numbers. Long story short, went to their competing Infiniti dealership got a great deal and bought a q50 cash.

You didn't take a picture of the whole thing. I believe below that picture on the same contract should be the monthly which you could have at least checked to be sure it was the monthly you negotiated. Sure they're scumbags, but 50% of the blame is still on the guy that signs it.

Be careful though. Dealerships have lots of money. They can probably sue you for posting this. Doesn't mean they're going to win, but they can make it hurt in lawyer's fees.

Way to hit like there on that post VBX.
He just blamed you.

Why do you keep posting the same drivel over and over again.

If you can't read your own contract.... the onus is on you.

Harry: "We didn't make any money on this deal."

Monsoor: I'll call corporate and see what we can do. Call you on Monday (December 2013).
- Never heard from him since.

Peter: Reply to the BBB: - It's common practice to quote the customer a discounted price after coupon.
- And? Show me on the contract where it says 43.5k. That's right you can't. Because the numbers are moved around. The other 2k went somewhere else. It was applied to the "due at signing".

That has nothing to do with the 43.5k. I negotiated 43.5k. I didn't ask you to put 2k to the "due at signing" total. Making the "due at signing a whopping 8k! 5k of that was MSD. The rest was my cash from the trade-in and the "2k" they added.

The missing 2k should have been applied to the Cap Cost Reduction. REDUCING the car to $43.5k. The amount we shooked hands on.

That's the problem. I didn't review until I got home and looked it over a few days later.

Yeah, seems like common practice over there. Didn't have an issue with any other dealership with this switcheroo. All previous purchase, the deal we shook hands on, was the deal we go.

Apparently, a hand shake means nothing at Orange Coast Infiniti.

Hey everyone,
after several customers told us about this thread i figured I'd check it out and defend our reputation since of course there is always 2 sides to every story. I'm glad there are some Infiniti dealer/Sales reps on this forum that can verify anything I'll say. Besides, all this information is available online for anyone to see.
Mr. VBX (I wont post his real name) negotiated a deal on a Q50 sometime before the 30th of Oct 2013. The original quote as posted on the business card was vague but nonetheless was for a Q50 Deluxe Touring with Leather and Navigation. (We have all the notes) MSRP at $47155 stock number 2966. At the time we had $2000 conquest rebate plus $2250 in dealer cash towards a retail purchase. SO we had $4250 total incentive towards a purchase of a Q50. Which would have easily accommodated the $43000 price quote. The exact quote was $43000 and $40500 on the trade with a $500 payment. (see attachment) Payment was for 72 months with a little over $13000 down from trade-in equity.
There is an email trace of several pages where Harry and "VTX" agreed on the exact vehicle and the exact deal. Purchase only. He later decided to switch to a lease where he lost the $2250 incentive. VTX came to consummate the deal 16 days after the original quote and on a different month with new programs. We also decided to go for a lease with multiple security deposits that saved him a ton of money in interest plus he'll get a refund of $5400 at the end of the lease. The payment he walked out with is $557 per month but we gave him a check for $6600 plus he is still due the deposit.

What kind of person cannot understand the difference?? Its a lease....different incentives.
The down payment is not all lost, it'll come back. and the deal was explained before signing.
Would anyone sign a contract and later realize the payment went up $100 per month, really? This is a case where the customer refuses to accept the reality... Even the BBB threw away the case because it didn't make any sense.
"please don't confuse me with the facts...."

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask. We have nothing to hide.

best regards,
Peter

So original quote was INCLUDING incentives? That means the initial agreed upon deal was MORE than MSRP. (43500 + 4250 available incentives = 47750). Ouch.

Thanks for the explanation. Don't worry, we take what VBX says with a grain of salt over here :). Still pretty crummy deal though :p

Again, show me the 43.5k? That is the deal we shook hands on.

Just because I switched to a lease, they decided to charge me MSRP? That was not shown on the printout.

I clearly remember the 2 printout with "43,500" on top.

1 was with MSD one was without MSD.

And yes, the 1st quote was $43,000 (see Business card). I came in a few weeks later and you upped it to $43,500 for whatever reason.

Vices, I see $43000 everywhere.

Where did you come up wih $43500?
From VBX who got his case dropped by BBB.

Don't listen to the troll.

Peter's post summed it all up nicely.

What does me getting my MSD back have to do with them charging me MSRP for a car we shook hands on for $43,500?

I know I am getting MSD back. That's not the issue. The issue on hand here is the the PRICE OF THE CAR and the MONTHLY PAYMENTS.

Yep, everyone quotes prices with incentives. Its sales we're talking about.... quote the lowest you can to earn the business.
Original quote was $43000. Its a bit high I agree but part of the deal was we were paying too much for the trade-in so the sales price was balancing it.
Specially since the highest Lexus bid we got on the trade was $38000 and we paid $40500 for it. Of course I'm not posting his picture on the Lexus forum saying he overcharged us for the trade in! LOL

We agreed on his trade in at $40500 and so it is.

He agreed on the terms, read and signed it. Fair goes both ways.

And its not that we got him in and shoved him in a car. He researched the deal and the figures for over 2 weeks, we have 8 pages of communication with the customer.

On another note. Get an offer from any Infiniti dealer and PM me privately. I'll beat it substantially! Special price for all forum members!

The confusion with the deal seems to be that the dealer was quoting WITH INCENTIVES. The 43K (or 43.5K) that was written down included incentives. That means the original deal was essentially for MORE than MSRP.

I'm not saying the dealership was dishonest like what vbx was saying. I'm just saying they didn't give him a good deal. Could also be on vbx for not negotiating for a better one (or for being an easy target wanting so bad to get out from under his IS350)

40k for the Lexus on paper. But in reality. it is 38k since there is a 2k amount that is missing from the Cap Cost of the car.

The cap cost is 45k instead of 43k. That's where the 2k went right?

The monthly payments are based on CAP COST. So they clearly played with the numbers.

If you like Nissans and have a few minutes of free time to waste, head over to the forums at altimas.net, the 5th generation (2013) ones. They have a version of vbx over there who goes by the tag "back2back." His posts are hilarious. >:D

He got his Altima bought back through the lemon law and moved on to an Accord, but still posts there every day. He can't move on. His obsession is telling people how much the Altima sucks. It must really kill him inside that it's the best-selling car in the USA right now.:crying:

I like your style :)

Again, I have no reason to believe you were dishonest at all. And I appreciate you getting things on the level here. Just saying, it wasn't a good deal. I hope you'd be able to give other people here on this forum better ones :D
