From the photos we have seen, it looks like Infiniti went nuts with the number of badges on the Q50. There is a 3.7 or Hybrid badge on the sides, an AWD badge on the trunk plus the Q50 badge. Add to all this the requisite Infiniti badges and emblems. This is just too much in my opinion.

I plan to get rid of the Hybrid badges and the AWD badge. What about you?

Given that the Q50 is still unknown, I like the idea of hiding its model badge, especially if you zoom past people - "what the **** was THAT?".
But I think in that case leaving just the Hybrid badge would be even better

Everyone is gonna hate on me but I'm not de-badging cuz when the lower end models come out with the 4 banger turbo I don't wanna be mistaken for it just like with the G 25 couldn't stand that car and the fact that it looked identical to the much more expensive G37 really chapped my hide....

Fastest hybrid in the world still slower than a lot of cars that are already out in the market that's equal or cheaper... not knocking it.... I ordered the hybrid myself.... it's not slow, but I will still lose to many of my frds....

Debading mine to kind of clean the clutter! There are some stuff that U wanna take out but not sure if its screwed or glued on! Well see when my Q50 comes but I did want to make it kinda like the pic I attached!

Still not sure if im debadging the ones on the side but im leaning towards taking that out too! Thinking of plastidipping the Infiniti logo black as well! Maybe ill try and see how it looks!

I'm with GtoQ on this. What's wrong with letting people instantly know what the car is? Infiniti does need to become more visible if it is to climb higher in the ranks. Also, I don't mind showing that I've got a hybrid and AWD vehicle. Now there is one thing that the dealer already knows: They are NOT to put any DEALER name on the car. I've never understood people who pay more for a t-shirt that has advertising on it. If the dealer wants to give me a commission for advertising his product, then he can put his name on the car.

For me, i dont mind them seeing the badge as well but I just find it to cluttered and taking it out just cleans up the rear! Shows more of that lovely paint!

Nope. No de-badging for me. I want everyone to know all of the loaded features of my new whip. IMO, those badges do exactly what they're supposed to do...add to the road/curb appeal of the car. But, to each his own...

I know what you mean, but when I apply wax(as I've stated, I don't use polish after the paint sealant goes on), I just use a used, very soft tooth brush to clean up around the lettering. It just takes another minute or two.
