Deployed and could use your help

I have had (leased) 3 G sedans in the last few years – starting with the first in 2003, then a ’08 and then lastly a ’10.
I love Infiniti, and it always seems to be the best value overall - and suits my personality - over what I consider to be cars in the same class/similar price point. (335i, C350, S4, IS350, and now the ATS)

I am currently deployed in Afghanistan and have talked to a couple of dealers already via e-mail (one from this forum actually).
I will be home (hopefully) in mid-October and will, once again, be looking at picking up my new Q50 within a couple days of hitting the ground.

But before I pre-order or make any deposits….. I was wondering:

- Has anyone been quoted ANY pricing yet? Like a certain amount over invoice - or off of MSRP.

- Are there even any real Invoice numbers out yet that anyone has found or been told by their dealer?

- When should we expect any Residuals or Money Factors to be released?

I don't want to pre-order until I know what Trim and Options Pkgs I will get. Some of those decisions will be based on pricing.
I may opt for the Sport and Nav w/out the Deluxe Touring, or maybe the Premium (Not sport) w/ Nav and add the 19” Wheels, Leather and Deluxe Touring.

If the deal is right, I would build it with Sport/Nav/Delx at $48,555 – and that is a far cry from the MSRPs I have had in the past… not even considering I always pay well below invoice anyway.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give / any light you can shine.

Each dealer is going to be different, but you can use this as a starting point:

From the MSRP, subtract the destination charge. Then divide that new number by 1.09. That will give you the supposed invoice price. Then, add back the destination charge. That will give you that starting point, if you find a dealer who will work with you on getting a deal that is good for the both of you. Good luck.

You can search this forum to find a little pricing info. Some of us have pre-ordered, and numbers posted here have run between $500 and $1500 off MSRP. The rest of the information -- dealer invoice, residuals, etc. -- have not been released to my knowledge.

By the time you're back in October, you'll be able to get all the information you'll need. It's just too early right now. Infiniti and its dealer network are holding everything close to the vest, and understandably so.

By the way, thank you for your service!

Infiniti is going to try to keep things closed for now. For whatever reason they haven't really started pushing this model yet they recognize the model as one of their most important models. If you've always been with Infiniti (especially if you buy from the same dealers) I'm sure you could work out a deal with your dealership.

I was hoping to pre-order (3 months prior) - and have the exact car I wanted waiting for me - as I have done on two prior deployments.

I think this might be necessary because I am leaning towards Moonlight White and the Graphite interior, and I don’t think this will be a very common color combo.

I am not really rushed yet. But it isn’t easy to communicate from here over the phone, and I do not want 6 different dealerships hounding me by e-mail once they do get numbers.
I was hoping you guys had been promised something as far as a timeline.

And I consider it an honor to serve…. It’s been a long 18 years – but the end (retirement) is drawing near!!

Well hopefully you get your moonlight white with graphite! Nothing official yet. I'm not even sure if everyone who has preordered has gotten an actual options list with any sort of pricing.

Are most people paying above or below MSRP? I would rather wait to pay the sticker price than have dealerships increase the price. It just doesn't seem right to me.
I don't think we've heard from anyone here who was asked/charged above MSRP. A few have seen discounts of a few hundred dollars from the dealer and maybe $1000 if they finance through IFS.

I've attached the official options and pricing sheet my dealership gave me when I pre-ordered. I am not sure if this has been posted around or not, so my apologies if it is a duplicate.

I've posted before regarding my purchase price, but it is a very low four-figure discount from MSRP, regardless of financing. I have bought several cars from the same individual at my dealer so we have a relationship of sorts. (If you want to call me showing up every few years and handing over a bunch of money a relationship -- sounds more like some marriages I know. Bam!)

Whoa! Is that sheet old? Why is Direct Adaptive Steering in the Deluze Tech Package! Dang! It says standard on website and not part of deluxe tech! :(
Sadly, I think it's only part of the Deluxe Package

It's standard on the hybrid, and if not a hybrid, then yes, you need to add the deluxe touring package.

I would understand on the deluxe "touring" but not the deluxe technology on the hybrid which lists it standard on the website! So I am now weary after seeing this!

It does list it's standard on the Microsite, and doesn't show it listed under the deluxe technology package.

Yep, they're totally contradictory as you point out. I suggest you call de Nysscchen directly and get this sorted out. Sorry for the confusion!

This pricing document is about a month old, from my understanding. And from my perspective I am not too excited about Direct Adaptive Steering. I would prefer to do without, but to get the features I want in my non-hybrid Sport Infiniti is making me buy it.

Oh! Thanks for the advice! Maybe u can help me out with De Nysschens number! Sorry for the incompetence!
What's remarkable on this price list that the 19" T&W package is only $1000, which is cheaper than the original leaked price list.
And this, like the older document, indicates that those 19" wheels are not available on the Premium Hybrid.
