Discounted G37S AWD or another Q50

Sorry all I know this has been discussed here and there on a few different posts

My wife gets her Q50S AWD today and I will take her 08 G35x. Have liked my G35x 's over the last 8 years

But I will be jealous!!

Have never driven a g37xS as you know they will make no more of this car 1 2013 left at my dealer for 36,700 everything but tech package
Or for 52k a fully loaded Q50 H
Both with VPP pricing
Any thoughts on the 37xS for that type of discount? Just wondered if the 37 xS will hold value a little more as the last of it's model and will I be satisfied while the Q works through its startup bugs
Or do I just order my Q50 and pay the 16k because it is going to be such a better ride?

The sales guy is going to get me the 2 year VPP lease option too. Have not used a VPP lease before.
If I buy G37 the Q will be road car so the G will be low mileage car
Thoughts?
Thanks

I think the G37 will feel outdated especially when you already have a Q50 in the garage. On the flip side.... having 2 of the same car is meh.

Wait for the new Q60 next year. :D

I like that idea
Hey, the G37xS is still an amazing car and I'm sure you'll get a good deal for it. Since you've never driven one, I suggest trying it out and see how you like it.
obviously newer is better.

but if you're in a position where you need to save a few bucks....getting the G is not a bad idea
Hang on to the 08. Put some hard miles on it, it should be your winter car soon. The Q30 is going to debut in Frankfurt soon and the Q40 and Q60 will be previewed next year. I have a strong feeling the Q60 is going to be something special. Turbo maybe.

Hmmm, today I looked up a 2013 Lapis Blue G37xS coupe online:

I would totally jump to that if they can find me the right one. As much as I love my Malbec and red seats, I'm going to soon be in need of AWD, I'm totally ready to go back to a coupe. I also love that Lapis Blue and should bit less of a hassle to maintain. :)

Q40? I don't think that in the pipe line as of yet....

I decided to pull trigger on a G37xS with less than 3k miles an Infiniti rep car I guess for 34k ..... Could have had a new one with VPP for 36.8 but I am thinking at this price a bunch of the 1st yr depreciation is build in. So if I get too jealous sitting In the passenger seat in my wife's Q50s AWD I can trade the 37 in for a Q..... Had dealer throw in tinting and winter floor mats so I do not have the car yet. Or when the M is redesigned I may be ready if it is more enjoyable to drive than my M37 was

Was able to drive my wife's car for the first time today it is taking some time to work through all the technology options and find where everything is but we have a big trip next weekend so we will read the manual and play with the options on the road

When is went drive the Q my wife told me to be careful ... She was serious ... I thought I was 16 borrowing my mothers car

I was surprised that the mirror fold in is not electronic like it was on my M

Good deal.

The Q50 might be the newest and shiniest car out there, but the G37 is obviously the much more proven, solid, and consistent car between the two if I have to say anything about it. Hey, for the money, it's definitely worth it for the time being.
Ugh!

For 2013+, Infiniti is discontinuing the aforementioned Lapis Blue paint color for the Q60---grrrrr!
