Just changed my spark plugs and there was oil on one of the threads, driver side closest to driver cylinder. Dont know which number it is, but does this look concerning?

Valve cover gasket leak? Bad piston compression rings? Those two come to mind and both are concerning.

I might rule out bad rings as the ceramic and electrodes on the spark plug itself have an excellent color.

Does the VR30 have spark plug gaskets? Not the crush rings on the plugs themselves but circular gaskets inside the valve cover for each spark plug tube similar to the VQ35. If so, that could be why there is oil on the plug threads.

A little bit of oil on the plugs isn't always an indication of a larger issue, the VQ35-37 engines also showed some build up on one or two of the plugs especially
for the cylinders closer to the firewall.

The first photo does look a bit excessive, however you left out some basic information
that might explain the oil.

What is is commute like? Lots of stop and go or steady highway driving?
