Do you mean Q50S or performance package? I have been curious with this performance package that they said it would be available last Jan.

The manual says about break-in that you are not supposed to drive at constant speed for too long and not going way pass 4000 rpm. I would say at least 1000 miles grandma style driving.
I did not really follow the break-in process myself since I never had a problem with new cars and I find it is a myth. I did take it easy the first 250 miles.

Congrats! Im sure the long wait made the delivery date just that more special.
From what everyone has been posting here, the break in is 1000-1200 miles and during that time you should avoid sudden accelerations/braking and going over 4000 rpms

As for the break in period I dont think there was a limit on how fast you can go, it just recommended to refrain from going over 4000RPM and heavy braking for the first 1000 Miles, not saying I followed that obviously

Break in

Keep it under 140 MPH for the first 100 miles and 7000 RPM and you will be good. we tested ours first night and it is all good !
