Hey guys just changed my differential fluid at home for the first time. Last time I had it changed at the Infiniti dealership but knowing they wanted 140 dollars for what seems to be an easier job than an oil change was just ridiculous. One of my trusted local shop also wanted 130 provided parts by me for both quotes.
But yeah it was pretty easy once you get the right pump that goes along with quarts you use for the diff fluid. Based off what’s recommended for my Hybrid and going by maintenance sticker under the hood I used the Nismo competition 75W-140 diff oil. The diff runs really quite now seeing how it was supposed to use 75W-140 and the dealership used 75W-90.

ATTENTION DIFFERENTIAL OIL CHANGE
Please Use Differential Oil COMPETITION type 2189E
Please change differential oil periodically per 60,000km/36,000mile
normal drive and per 6,000km/3,000mile Performance drive.

Mine lists 75w-90 fully synthetic in the manual, which is what I used last time. I can't say I could hear it before or after changing it.

Only tip I can give for differential/transmission/transfer case fluid changes is to make sure you can remove the filler plug before dropping the oil out the drain plug..

Yessir that’s a great tip indeed that you just gave right there. Also I have an LSD installed which is why it’s a noticeable change in sound now as to before.

Does anybody have the crush washer part numbers for the transaxle and differential drain/fill plugs? 2019 LUXE 3.0 AWD. Thanks.

i did my entire drive line at the same time, so I can’t recall exactly which is which, but I’m pretty sure the 110264N200 is for the diffs, and I think 110261CA0A is for the transfer case.

eitherway, order the top three part numbers in the amounts shown and you’ll be good.

This is same amount and everything needed for a 2018 AWD luxe also correct? On the excel sheet, it says "Diff (Front): Genuine NISSAN Differential Oil Hypoid Super GL-5 80W-90 (non-synthetic): KE907-999362" for my front diff fluid and I'm having TROUBLE finding it. Is the "limited slip oil" for your front diff?

No LSD-specific fluid required in the front differential.. You can just use conventional 80W-90, like from Valovline:

Got it thanks. I'm going crazy trying to look for the Genuine Nissan one, made a whole new thread to see if anyone could help me locate where to buy.

Manufacturers love it when owners buy their branded stuff.

The only specific fluid I would stick-with on a Nissan or Infiniti vehicle is the ATF.

Iridium beat me to it, lol! Yes, the quantities are the same for all AWD Qs, and I have no idea why the dealership labeled the front diff oil as LSD oil, when it is just regular ole gear oil. Any no need for Nissan specific stuff except maybe the transmission and transfer case.

Thank you both lol. I just went with AMSOIL for both front and back, 80W90 and 75W90. Going to get both ATF fluid tomorrow from Nissan and all of the washers/gaskets/O-ring you had listed too.
