Welcome to my mini build thread. As I am leasing, my mods will unfortunately remain limited.

I originally fell for Infiniti Cars with my 2008 black obsidian g35s. Once my dealer got a 2011 g37s 6mt I had to jump on it. The 37 was white but it wasnt quite my taste of color. Back to black I went with my q50s.

Here are a few pics at pickup. Sorry for the terrible quality pics...Dont mind the pregnant wife in the background.

Welcome! You are not that far down South from me. Of course, good color choice. You'll find more than a few of us on the forums with OB. Good luck with the build! I say enjoy the car, even on a lease. Just be reasonable about what you purchase and pick things you will get good use out of, can change back to stock without a permanent modifications, and can easily sell if you go with a different car in the future.

Enjoy!
As mentioned, I live in Florida and at most times of year the sun is relentless. Therefore, my first "mod" was 20% tint.

Shortly thereafter I poked around on the forum and found the interior led conversion thread.

I debadged the 3.7 from the sides and replaced my 4 year olds car seat..stage 1 weight reduction over the previous seat.

As I grew tired of the run flats, the decision to change tires was made. Unfortunately 19" tires are expensive so I upgraded wheels and tires simultaneously. I chose 20" Lexani R-Three black and machined rims with Hankook Ventus 245/35/20. As I am not a fan of the expensive staggering concept, I went with 20 x 8.5 all around. Without spacers the wheels are flush enough for me.

Since I cant upload images due to size limitations I will post them later.

Thanks, by the way your whip is looking good. Keep up the good work.

Im not getting anything major but I had a stillen intake and exhaust for the g that I managed to sell just after picking up the new one.. so those might be future options.
Nice ride! I noticed you have the OEM spoiler on both cars - I have it on my 2011 G37S as it deleted that chrome tip on the trunk and am considering it for the Moonlight White car I am hopefully leasing tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing!
Any insight on how to best upload images? I keep getting errors even after cropping...

I usually upload to a picture hosting site first, using Flickr myself. Then use the URL image code insert tool in advanced mode to link to the pictures.

Looking forward to seeing a picture of the wheels soon.

Installation was not difficult but some suggestions will be made to R2C. It seems that the intake was rushed to be released or maybe I got the first test fitted one with changes on future production. Overall I dony think the computer has compensated for thr increased suction so time will tell.

Once I edit my 4 year old out of the recordings I will post audio before and after both in cabin and engine bay

Advised Wifey of upcoming Stillen purchase. Now that the ear-full is behind us, I can proceed to enjoy ear full of cat-back!

Looking forward to receiving my parts from Stillen! Thanks Mark for your help in the ordering process.

Let us know how she performs man!
First impression she growled like a mofo. The intake feels as though it is doing Exactly what it is meant to do. There is definitely more unrestricted air coming in. After resetting the ecu, the shift changes became more meaningful. The car is shifting at better intervals now than previously. From 4.5k rpm and up this thing sounds like a beast.

Got some clips coming with the intakes on? and how did you do an ecu reset?
I will upload some sound clips soon. My phone recently went for a swim so the recorded ones are no more. The ECU reset is the same as for a G37

Car is looking great! You should look into using Photobucket (or any other image hosting site) to embed your photos. Car looks great and can't wait for you to get the Exhaust, Diffuser, and Splitter installed! >:D
