Those who don't have and don't plan to put the front license plate/tag, what's your planned excuse when you get pulled over for it.

Or what was your excuse if you were already pulled over. ;-)

I live in Massachusetts and they are sticklers for front plates here, yet everything I drive is without one. The police here really don't stop people for it alone but if you get pulled over for something else they may add that right in. Where the pain is for us is the yearly inspection, most shops are really hard on this because they say they could lose their licenses. So it get wire tied on for 10 minutes and then back off again.

The hide-away plate is definitely @ nice option to those that dont want to ruin the look of their car and u can just screw it @ the bottom! Have a non motorized one for sale if anyone is interested! Bought one to put on Oreo but she's too low now and might scrape!

Another alternative is the stillen license plate relocator! Just screw it on your tow hook!

I have the hide-away plate holder on my Q and I love it. I had it on my old car and when I used to get pulled over for not having a front plate I would just tell them I folded it down when I was detailing my car and I forgot to pull it up. They would usually allow me to get out of the car and pull it back up and not get a ticket for it.

I'm very happy that we don't have front license plates in Florida. Wow does that kill the look of the car. Honestly, I don't think I'd buy such a nice car if I had to destroy it's appearance with a hideous plate on the front. It would be a hideaway or a cheaper car.

Yeah I refused to take delivery of my car if they drilled into my bumper. They zip tied the plate to the grill when I picked it up, then took it off and installed my hide-away plate. I hate when the plate ruins the look of the front of the car.

Yeah front plates are so stupid and pointless, definitely ruin the look of the front of your car. I live in wyoming and I have never put the front licence plates on my cars and I have only been pulled over by the highway patrol and they are huge douchers about it, they have all ended up with a 60 dollar ticket. Non moving violation tho so F it. ill just take my chances

Yeah here in NY they will look for any reason to give a ticket, so driving without the front plate isn't worth the hassle. This is why I opt'd for the hide-away. I keep it up most of the time and for pictures and stuff I flip it down.

i just ordered a novelty Japanese license plate for the Q50 and the plate says Q50 on it, I'll probably put that on at some local meets

I'm thinking of getting the motorized license plate hide away plate and have the original plate up, and with a push of a button, the original plate gets covered up with the Japanese plate
