I guess I found only one of a few Hybrid Sports in the country equipped how I wanted (Nav only, Stone Interior) at Palm Springs Infiniti on Monday. Called and bought it over the phone in less than 30 minutes. No add-ons and $2000 under MSRP.
Picked it up yesterday and everything was fine. Easy to work with, very trusting (let me take it for a ride without any dealer personnel).
I drove it home (about 100 miles) and took some winding CA back roads. The car is fantastic - quick and reliable. I averaged 30mpg and that was with some way "over the speed limit jaunts" - 100mph at one point.
Everything works (no tech packages - and I don't miss it).
So, I am happy. I have a great dealer and am totally pleased so far.
Too bad so many of you are having problems getting your cars and then some tech problems after you have gotten them.
If you have any particular questions, let me know.
By the way, it is Hagane Blue and I love the color in person. Plus it is a rare color at this time! I initially wanted
Graphite Shadow, but I'm glad I could't find one equipped the way I wanted.

Congrats! Blue is the only color I am still second guessing about. Also liked the white, but after several viewings went with graphite shadow. My 06 M was also white, so needed a change!

OK, I knew that was coming. Well, I'm an old-timer so it takes me long to figure out all this digital magic. I will take some soon - but then I will have to find out how to upload them on this forum - HELP!!
Glad to see you got what you wanted. AND, glad to see another "mature" owner.

Wow, are YOU wrong! He said digital!:D You know that you won't see my pictures for a while, since I'll be sealing the paint first. Then, after I find places to take some pictures(not as good as Chick, however), I'll have to get the film developed. I just KNOW that you all will be waiting with bated breath.

I wanted to put two quotes in this one post, but I couldn't remember how, and I couldn't find the post that gave the instructions. Anyone?

Just click the "-" icon on the bottom right hand side of each post that you want to comment on (the "-" will refresh to a red "+"), then go up to the top of the page and click, "Post Reply" located on the left above first post. It will then list each of the comments that you clicked "-" in the order in which you clicked on the "-".

If you make a mistake or change your mind and no longer want to quote one of the items you clicked on, just hit the red "+" and it will revert back to the "-".

Not being facetious, but where do you get that done anymore? Do you have to send it out? How many places still develop film?

Reverse psychology - after saying what I did, the next thing that should be said is, "Oh, you're not old.":D
Hahaha!! Oopsy! My bad!! "Ohhhh you're not old!!" :D

Ummm in my defense, I'm barely 43 and I consider myself, "old folk" to most on this forum so knowing that Selzini is about 20 years older than me, I didn't realize I was being setup to give the desired response! Ha

That's very true! .. Ok, I can settle for what Selzini called once "seasoned"/mature owner...

On the other hand, if both ladies responded Selzini in the same way, that said something too! ... ;);):D
