hi all. i stumbled on this site a few months ago when i was doing some research on the Q50.

i ordered a hybrid awd premium with nav and deluxe tech. and coming from a lexus rx350.

i am new to the infiniti brand and was hesitant to purchase after reading all of the posts re: in touch issues. but decided to pull the trigger anyway having faith that i may be lucky enough to get one without issues and confident enough that the engineers are diligently working on a solution if i did experience issues.

at the very least the posts have prepared me for what may come so that i am making a decision with this risk in mind and not be blind sided and frustrated if in touch issues arise (hopefully not!, knocking on wood).

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the Q!

The Q50 is my second Infiniti, and fourth Nissan product. My wife and I have owned Toyota, Honda, Volvo, Mercedes, Mitsubishi. The Sentra SE-R, Maxima, and Infiniti M have been the most reliable of all. Needless to say, we are very happy with Nissan/Infiniti.

Way to early to say on the Q50, but loving it so far!

Welcome to the forum!

We all hope that the next software update will be able to fix most, if not all, our addressed issues!

What color, trim and package did you get?

Congrats from a Philly guy living in LA.

I agree with you in that I believe the engineers are diligently working this issue, especially when Infiniti's CEO said this is their bread and butter, they better get it right.

Welcome to the forum!

Which dealership are you going through? (you can PM me if you prefer)

My understanding is that the cars are either at the port now, or will be on the 23rd. What happens from there is anyone's guess.

My salesperson told me I might be able to pick it up on Friday (23rd) if it comes in the morning but then said her inventory manager had no idea when they were coming in.

I was told the 'port' is in NJ so . . .

Keep us posted on your progress!

I'm going thru infiniti of Ardmore. Last week they told me it was on the boat and this week they don't have any updates. I'm just counting the days at this point.

Welcome to the forum! You're going to love the car. Even though I've had a few freezeups I'm confident it will get fixed.
