This reminds me of the infotainment setup in the Lexus LF-LC that has 2 screens, one lower screen to control the much larger screen above.
I would assume its safe to say they didn't get rid of the memory seat settings. Since it looks like there are different "profiles" that each profile would include not only the driving dynamics but also the memory seats, steering wheel, and mirrors. I'm sure there is a way to personalize each setting so that its read every time you enter the car via the key fob, kind of like the G37, but more advanced.I'm a little concerned.
Firstly, I noticed that there are no more buttons on the door for 2-person memory seating as seen in the current model.
I'm gonna assume that the memory seating options are now being controlled via the InTouch System...? I guess we'll have to wait to find out exactly all the things the InTouch system will provide.
I will cry if they took out the memory steering/seating..![]()
...You sure? And don't worry they wont be removing memory seat function. That is a standard...
I believe you're talking about BMW. From my experience they were the first to do this. When i went car shopping in 06, I remember seeing the E60 BMW M5 with heads up display, as well as the M6.Seems a bit like overkill to me. Do we really need more screens? I feel one should be enough. I guess I'll have to wait until there are hands on review or I get to see one in person.
If they really want to try something new, they should try implementing an hud on the windshield. I remember seeing one company trying it out but can't think who it is right now.
I agree that Infiniti should add the HUD that is found on BMW models. They also should include Apple's eyes free technology to help control the apps a driver is not distracted.Seems a bit like overkill to me. Do we really need more screens? I feel one should be enough. I'm pretty sure there are buttons. I recall specifically seeing them in one of the photos and noticing they were moved. I'll have to go back through the pics. Agreed this is something that needs to be a hard button....You sure?
I think Infiniti thought it through before actually making it. It makes sense though to have a screen specifically just for the temperature control and one for media so you dont get too mixed up and buttons are a thing of the past. Just look at blackberry they even went full on touch screen. So with the trend now its only a matter of time till every one follows.Seems a bit like overkill to me. Do we really need more screens?
